Celebrate the winter season at Snowplace Like the Union on Wednesday, December 10, 6–8 p.m. in Montezuma Hall! Enjoy festive activities, holiday-themed fun, and cozy vibes with friends. Bring your friends, get into the seasonal spirit, and make the most of this winter wonderland event on campus.

Dream of performing live and showing off your band’s talent? Here’s your chance! Enter the Battle of the Bands student competition for an opportunity to open for the GreenFest Concert headliner this Spring.

The top bands will be selected to compete in the Battle of the Bands on Wednesday, December 3, 6–8 p.m. in Montezuma Hall for the grand prize.

Step into a cozy, vintage-winter creative night on Monday, Dec. 1 from 4-6 pm in Templo Mayor, 2nd floor of the Student Union, where we’ll build vision boards, unwind and get grounded before the New Year begins! Inspired by themes of rejuvenation and transformation. Come relax, reflect on your goals and create something meaningful as we set the vibe for a refreshed, intentional start to 2026.

Get ready to cozy up at Campground Cookout on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 4–6 p.m., at the Student Union Courtyard! Enjoy a relaxed, fall-inspired atmosphere with hot dogs, mac and cheese and fun seasonal crafts. Take in the cozy campground vibes while enjoying live performances during the open mic, or grab the mic yourself and join in the fun! Don’t forget to sign up to perform and make the most of this laid-back evening filled with comfort food, creativity and community.

Join us for Cooking with Chefs (CWC) on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 2–3 p.m. in the Student Union Courtyard for a special Aztecs Rock Hunger (ARH) edition! This month’s theme, Pantry to Plate, highlights how to create delicious, nutritious dishes using ingredients from our very own A.S. Food Pantry while supporting the campus effort to fight food insecurity. Watch professional chefs prepare flavorful recipes live, pick up a few culinary tips and enjoy an afternoon of good food and community spirit.

Join us for Nooners, a recurring event series spotlighting student talent, where a student performer or band takes the stage for a full hour — happening Wednesday, Novemebr 12, from 12-1 p.m. in the Student Union Courtyard.

Get ready to move and groove at Dancing Under the Stars on Wednesday, November 5 from 6–8 p.m.! Enjoy a night filled with dance instruction to a variety of styles, food and a photobooth for you and your friends to capture the fun. It’s the perfect way to relax, dance and celebrate under the stars!

Continue the celebration of Día de los Muertos with a cozy movie night! Join us for Monday Night Movies with an outdoor screening of Coco on Monday, Nov. 3, in the Student Union Courtyard. Pre-movie activities start at 5:30 p.m., where you can enjoy pan dulce, pan de muerto and Mexican hot chocolate, contribute to the community ofrenda and learn about the significance of Día de los Muertos traditions. The movie begins at 6:30 p.m., so bring your friends, blankets and good vibes for a heartwarming night under the stars!
