JUDICIAL AFFAIRS COUNCIL MINUTES
Friday, March 27, 2015 – 8:00 AM

I. CALL TO ORDER
A.S. Chief Justice Kiana Caton called the meeting to order at 8:18 AM in Visionary Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
II. ROLL CALL
A. Voting Members Present: Kiana Caton, Sergio Cisneros, Brenna Culliton, Jacob Grant.
B. Voting Members Absent: Sarah Nohrden, Erik Tamiyasu.
C. Non-Voting Members Present: Lee Mintz.
D. Non-Voting Members Absent: Jennifer Esquivel-Parker.
E. Visitors Present: None.
III. MODIFICATIONS TO AGENDA:
It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda for today’s meeting.

IV. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
V. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes, as attached.

It was moved and seconded to combine March 20 and 25 minutes.

Both sets of minutes were approved. CARRIED, (3-0-0)
VI. CHAIR’S REPORT:
A. Thank you to everyone for all their hard work on both elections and the referendum process.
VII. INFORMATION
A. Current Attendance & Duties Report: The attendance and duties report was reviewed.
B. Referendum Updates: Voting will take place when we return from spring break.
VIII. ACTION
A. Hearings:
1. Alex Johnstone: It was moved and seconded to assign one reprimand to Alex Johnstone.

2. Tyler Aguilar: It was moved and seconded to approve Tyler Aguilar’s hearing.
CISNEROS/GRANT CARRIED, (3-0-0)
t was moved and seconded to issue two reprimands to Tyler Aguilar.

B. Elections Committee Minutes: It was moved and seconded to approve the Elections Committee minutes of March 20 and 23, as attached.
