Enrollment Presentation - Stefan Hyman, Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management (Time Certain 3:45 p.m.)
Provided an overview of enrollment data, ongoing efforts to enhance the student experience, and key priorities for the upcoming academic year, followed by a brief discussion of relevant questions and feedback from attendees.

- LinkedIn & Resume Workshop (Information)
A LinkedIn and Resume Workshop was presented as an informational session, providing attendees with guidance on optimizing LinkedIn profiles, enhancing resumes, and effectively showcasing professional skills and experiences. The workshop aimed to support career development and professional networking opportunities for participants. - General Consent Agenda (Action)

IX. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Karen Sawouq, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
A test run with a small group of students is scheduled for Friday to ensure all functions are operating correctly; the survey is designed to take approximately 3–5 minutes to complete. The full survey will officially launch next week, supported by email distribution and social media promotion efforts. - Marco Loza, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
A meeting was held with the Maintenance Committee, during which the previous meeting minutes were reviewed. Discussion included plans to allocate $8 million toward updates and improvements across the university’s facilities. - Noah Stuart, ASBOD Student-At-Large:

Representatives from MESA in Kansas and engineering councils from the Western-Central regions will engage in discussions on behalf of SDSU, focusing on strategies to enhance programs and initiatives for student support and development. - College of Health and Human Services:
Dean Mkay will lead an event in October and is open to additional Career Services events, including marketing internship workshops, that would be beneficial to the council and support professional development opportunities for participants. - College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts:
The next meeting will be led by Dean Mkay, who will explore opportunities for hosting a networking workshop to support professional development and engagement among participants. - College of Sciences:

XII. EXECUTIVE REPORTS AND A.S. ADVISOR REPORT

The IRA fee proposal was presented, and all feedback from members is encouraged and being carefully considered. The discussion will build upon the notes and decisions recorded in the previous meeting minutes. - Milan Rawls, Executive Vice President:
No Report. - Abby McLachlan, Vice President of External Relations:
Chess applications are now open. Election Day was reported as successful, and with new congressional districts drawn, students may be located in different districts; members are encouraged to reach out with any questions. It was suggested that the state could expand access to EBT and other benefits.
Additionally, CSU has introduced a new advocacy tool, CSU Voices, which will provide students with updates on legislative matters and offer opportunities for community members to engage in advocacy and contact local officials. The discussion builds upon notes from the previous meeting minutes. - Aliza Siddiqui, Vice President of Financial Affairs:
It was reported that $2,000 was raised during Pie Day, with each dollar equating to two meals. College councils actively participated and contributed to the effort. Additionally, the Aztec Rock Hunger Friendsgiving event will take place from 6–8 p.m., featuring fun activities and free food in partnership with Aztec Shops. - Christina Brown, Executive Director:
With Thanksgiving approaching, it was noted that the last University Council meeting for the semester will be held on December 3rd.
XIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Noah: A recruiting event for Qualcomm was announced, targeting positions in IT, MIS, and Finance. Students are encouraged to submit their resumes and engage with representatives to learn about internship opportunities. The event is accessible via Handshake, and students are advised that JobRight.AI can assist in tailoring resumes to align with desired positions.
- Aliza: International Education Week will take place from November 17–21 and will feature the International Peace Village, including a series of cultural performances celebrating global diversity and cross-cultural engagement.
- Abby: The Student Diversity Council is also supporting International Education Week, particularly in organizing and facilitating the International Peace Village event, which includes cultural performances and activities celebrating global diversity.
- Nadia: Nadia will be sending out an email outlining the requirements, with submissions due by November 14th.
