VI. PRESENTATIONS AND UNIVERSITY REPORTS
- University Senate Designee: None.
- Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee:
Monday marked the launch of Homecoming Week, and appreciation was expressed for the strong attendance and participation, especially during the Homecoming Court highlight event. A reminder was shared that Aztec Nights will take place this Saturday following the Homecoming game, with a food truck available afterward for everyone to enjoy. Registration for the upcoming term begins next week, and while many new and transfer students are preparing to enroll for the fall semester, some remain on registration hold and will be unable to complete enrollment until their requirements are met.
Currently, about 4,000 students are on hold and must resolve outstanding items before the second semester begins, so all students are encouraged to review their accounts promptly. Ongoing outreach efforts are in place to support students through this process, and individuals may receive communication from multiple departments as part of these coordinated efforts.

IX. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Karen Sawouq, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
The SWANA survey is currently in its final stages and will soon be distributed to a designated sample group. In addition, work is underway on the charge letter, which will outline key points regarding philanthropy and related initiatives. - Marco Loza, ASBOD Student-At-Large:
The pamphlet for the IRA fee has been approved. Additionally, discussions were held with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize areas on the SDSU campus where funding allocation is most needed. - Noah Stuart, ASBOD Student-At-Large:

The requirements for classes and the General Education catalog are being developed and fulfilled with a focus on providing meaningful and relevant learning experiences for students, rather than courses that serve merely as fillers. - College of Business:

Discussion included multiple variables related to individuals who do not fall under specific colleges, along with further conversation regarding the Academic Partnership Agreement. There was also recognition of the successful collaborations with Registered Student Organizations and the strong participation in the Breast Cancer Walk held at Snapdragon Stadium two weeks ago. - College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts:
A campus tour was conducted at the Native Resource Center. Discussed freedom of expression, including the professional responsibilities of faculty when a professor is involved, and addressed whether antisemitism is explicitly covered under our policy on discrimination and harassment. It was agreed that further research and clarification of how antisemitism is defined and applied in institutional policy will be pursued. - College of Sciences:
No Report. - Graduate Student Association:
The Resource Planning Committee met this week to bring all members together for a comprehensive review of their respective budgets, referencing information available on the university website. The committee also engaged in discussions to outline and establish goals for the upcoming year. - Undeclared College Council: None.

XII. EXECUTIVE REPORTS AND A.S. ADVISOR REPORT
- Nadia Gallarzo, Vice President of University Affairs:
The Academic Affairs Committee meeting focused on the College Council budget increase. Updates included the appointment of a new Advantage Chair for the University Affairs Board, as well as the delegation of projects involving AI initiatives and the Academic Partnership Agreement. - Kareen Holstrom, President:
The Academic Policy and Planning Committee meeting included an introduction to discussions about the Academic Partnership Agreement and how these conversations will be conducted with students from each college and their respective deans.
Collaboration with Parking and Transportation Services is ongoing, with more information to be shared soon.
Additionally, the IRA fee presentation will take place today in the theatre. Excitement was expressed for ARH and Homecoming events, with thanks extended to all who participated. - Milan Rawls, Executive Vice President:
Participation is encouraged as Homecoming activities continue. A Homecoming Spirit Competition will be announced soon, and a Costume Contest is scheduled for this evening. The Dance Competition will take place tomorrow, followed by additional activities on Friday. - Abby McLachlan, Vice President of External Relations:
Proposition 50 voting begins this Saturday in Student Services. Starting Monday, the polling location will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing students to drop off their ballots at designated areas around campus. Re-registration for voting is also available. - Aliza Siddiqui, Vice President of Financial Affairs:
There was strong participation in the dunk tank event, and next week will feature Pie Day, so donations are encouraged. Excitement was expressed about starting the year with such a successful kickoff. - Christina Brown, Executive Director:

XIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Abby: Tomorrow, following Thursday, there will be the Makers Market, which she is organizing. She is coordinating a field trip from 3:00–3:30 p.m.. The event will be open from 1:00–6:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Union.
- Nadia: Kappa Alpha Theta is hosting a costume event for $5. The event will feature three bands, including food. Tickets are being sold by Nadia.
- Kareen: Rotaract applications are due Saturday, November 1st. If interested, students can contact her for more information.
- Everett: Halloween Movie Night details will be held in the Theatre of the Union. The event is free for students and will include candy.
- Aliza: The Indian Center will host a series of performances along with Indian food on November 2nd in Montezuma Hall.
