A.S. Vice President of University Affairs, Trinity Dang, called the meeting to order at 3:36 p.m.

- Presentation - Graduate Programs - Interim Provost Dr. William Tong, Graduate Studies Dean Tracy Love, Graduate Studies Association President Julio Rodriguez:
Graduate Programs are to focus on graduate education from admissions to graduation. There are many factors to consider for graduate programs, such as funding for graduate/doctoral programs, the Initiative for Maximizing Student Development program for undergraduate assistance, and using faculty guidance for thesis review. Path to graduate program acceptance may include utilizing research programs to bolster undergraduate resumes, focusing on GMAT/GRE scores, and the Health Professions Advising Office for pre-med and pre-vet students.
VII. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

It was moved and seconded to move the approval of the General Consent Agenda to 3/19/25.

VIII. EXECUTIVE REPORTS
- Trinity Dang, Vice President of University Affairs: Academic Partnership Resolution had their first reading at the University Affairs Board. A pool party at President Adela de la Torre’s house is getting planned for later in the spring. The College Council Open House event to promote college council positions is an ongoing plan. Your Voice Matters (YVM) Pushweek and California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS) will be taking place in the month of March. Social Mobility Symposium is on 2/20/2024 in San Marcos, and executive officers will be attending. Promoted write-in candidates for Associated Students elections. Career Services is starting a new program of declaring an industry along with one’s major to have access to career advisors.
- Kat Hernandez, President: Spring Leaders Mixer on March 4th, Gender neutral bathroom update of setbacks, but is still in the works. SDSU-GBT will be going live Fall 2025 and available to all SDSU students.
- Tajuddin Henry, Executive Vice President: No report.
- Derrick Herrera, Vice President of External Relations: In the process of planning for the upcoming California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS). Recently attended the California State Student Association (CSSA) and talked about other conduct of concern for protections within faculty and staff.
- Vincent Lin, Vice President of Financial Affairs: Campus Program Funding (CPF) funding is decreasing to students being able to request funds. The Financial Affairs Committee is conducting budget reviews. Working on walkarounds for academic and cultural funding requests. Urges everyone to complete spring study abroad scholarship approval.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: Informed representatives of ballot order being published the following week.
- Nora Novak, ASBOD Student-At-Large: No report.
- Nick Felix, ASBOD Student-At-Large: Student Success Fee (SSF) is looking for student representatives from each college council. University Senate Campus Fee Advisory Committee proposed increased graduation fees.
- Mohammed Erekat, ASBOD Student-At-Large: No report.
- College of Arts and Letters: Transitioning for next year’s executive board. Appointed a new Vice President of Internal Affairs. Student Learning Outcomes and Program Assessment Committee is conducting a student data collection for general education classes.
- College of Business: Planning a career fair in March.
- College of Education: No report.
- College of Engineering: No report.
- College of Health and Human Services: Planning a career fair for public health events for networking. Encouraged people about the upcoming Student Leadership Summit
- College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts: Explained good standing qualifications during general body meeting.
- College of Sciences: Had Doughnuts with Department Chairs during their general body meeting. Working on the Alumni STEM panel and collaborating with Health and Human Services for a research panel.
- Graduate Student Association: Went over transportation resources in general board meeting for graduate students to have accessibility to campus.
- Undeclared College Council: No report.
