Public comments were made regarding the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and Israel and student safety concerns regarding the increase in Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism.

University Vice President for Student Affairs Designee, Dr. Randy Timm reported on the following: Please report any incident of Islamophobia or Anti-Semitism to Inclusive SDSU. Call the University Police Department or 911 if you are in immediate trouble.

Tarek Morsy reviewed information about the A.S. Career Advantage Kickoff Event.
VIII. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Ally Gallant, Vice President of University Affairs: The study abroad scholarships that A.S. Representatives must review have been sent out by Samuel Ramtin. 11/29 will be the University House holiday party. 12/6 the end of the year A.S. party will be at BJ’s after the all council meeting. The inaugural student advisory committee for graduate students will be meeting on Monday.
- Tarek Morsy, President: A.S. Career Advantage Kickoff event on 11/3.
- Sam Lingao, Executive Vice President: Homecoming lip sync touchdown from 5-7 p.m. SDSU Homecoming is this week and there are various events throughout the week.
- Melvin Ridley III, Vice President of External Relations: 11/29 there will be an event with the local council President. The Rock The Vote campaign is ongoing.
- Leo Pena, Vice President of Financial Affairs: Woodstock Pizza is having an event today and a part of the proceeds will be donated to Aztecs Rock Hunger. Cheba Hut is going all you can drink and the proceeds will go to Aztecs Rock Hunger.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: A.S. will be holding an alumni tailgate prior to the Homecoming football game and all A.S. leaders are welcome to attend.
- Sam Ramtin, Government Affairs Coordinator: No report.
- Palni Bhatt, ASBOD Student-At-Large: Registration for spring classes began today.
- Derrick Herrera, ASBOD Student-At-Large: The Aztecs Rock Hunger campaign is ending this weekend.
- Alex Inglis, ASBOD Student-At-Large: No report.
- College of Arts and Letters: Fundraising has been successful and the RSO’s have been having great events. Career Services gave a presentation at the last meeting to help liberal arts students find careers post graduation. Looking to create a strengthened relationship with career services
- College of Business: Wish Makers is looking for new members. Society for Human Resource Management held a successful leadership summit this past week. Working to plan future events.
- College of Education: No report.
- College of Engineering: Q&A with the Dean event is upcoming. The Pumpkin Drop event and Conference were both successful for the
- College of Engineering. This week CESC is prioritizing the Aztecs Rock Hunger campaign.
- College of Health and Human Services: Working on holding speakers come into PSFA meetings. Next week a speaker will be presenting about the Doctoral Physical Therapy programs and graduate schools. Attending a Breast Cancer walk on 11/15.
- College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts: Tacos and Transfers event last Wednesday and there was high attendance. Career Services attended their last general body meeting. Next meeting will be a Q&A with the Dean.
- College of Sciences: Held a Donuts with the Dean and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion event within the past two weeks. Looking to find another A.S. representative but not able to find someone willing to take on the responsibilities. Hoping to reschedule their RSO tabling fair.
- Graduate Student Association: No report.
- Undeclared College Council: Holding a registration workshop tomorrow from 10-1 p.m.
