I.  CALL TO ORDER

A.S. Vice President of University Affairs, Jennifer Schenkenfelder, called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. via Zoom.

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda with postponing the General Consent Agenda to the March 2 meeting.

VI.  PRESENTATIONS AND UNIVERSITY REPORTS

  1. University Senate Designee: None.
  2. University Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: Christine Molina reported on the following:
    1. The SDSU Leadership Summit, annual conference sponsored by the Glazer Leadership Center, is this Saturday, February 19.  Ricardo Lara, former A.S. Executive Vice President and current California Insurance Commissioner, will be the keynote speaker.

VII.  ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

  1. General Consent Agenda (Action) - Will be approved at the 3/2 meeting.
  2. General Consent Report (Information)
    The General Consent Report was reviewed.

VIII.  INTRODUCTION OF NEW LEGISLATIVE MATTERS - None.

IX.  REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS

  1. Jennifer Schenkenfelder, Vice President of University Affairs: Will meet with the Provost next week.  Provided an update about course waitlists.  
  2. Ashley Tejada, President:  Thank you for attending the ATS fee open forum.  I am very proud of you all for being present and allowing your voice to be heard.
  3. Karina Esteban, Executive Vice President: No report.
  4. Shawki Moore, Vice President of External Relations: California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS) interviews are this Friday.  Provided CSSA updates regarding standardized testing.
  5. Austin Barber, Vice President of Financial Affairs:  Good luck on your midterms!
  6. Christina Brown, Executive Director: A.S. elections application deadline is at 4 p.m. this Friday.  Please encourage your Colleges to apply!
  7. Beth Bridges, ASBOD Student-At-Large: No report.
  8. Alexia Oduro, ASBOD Student-At-Large: No report.
  9. Margot Ermer, ASBOD Student-At-Large: Apply for Quest of the Best.
  10. College of Arts and Letters (CAL) Council: Looking for a VP of Finance.
  11. Fowler College of Business Council: No report.
  12. College of Education Student Council: No report.
  13. College of Engineering Student Council: Engineering Week is next week!
  14. College of Health and Human Services Student Council (CHHSCC):  Welcome Roxane Fournier!  We are collaborating with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank.
  15. College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts (PSFA) Student Council: None.
  16. College of Sciences Student Council (CSSC): No report.
  17. Graduate Student Association (GSA): No report.
