A.S. Vice President of University Affairs, Jennifer Schenkenfelder, called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m.

- University Senate Designee: No report.
- University Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee, Christine Molina: Christine reported on the following:
- Provided an update on the Student Success Fee applications and process.
- Spring registration started yesterday.
- Campus Assistance, Response, Engagement & Support (CARES) Presentation - Chris Turntine, CARES Team Deputy Ombudsman (Time Certain 3:45 p.m.):
Chris Turtine provided an introduction and information of the Campus Assistance, Response, Engagement & Support (CARES) network which allows individuals to refer students to different CARES partners to assist them through any issues or concerns. - Aztecs Rock Hunger Presentation - Austin Barber, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs (Immediately after Item C.) - There was no presentation since Austin had already presented.
VII. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION
- General Consent Agenda (Action):
It was moved and seconded to approve the General Consent Agenda, which includes the External Relations Board and Graduate Student Association meeting minutes.

XI. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Jennifer Schenkenfelder, Vice President of University Affairs: Met with Provost Ochoa regarding course offerings, advising and Saturday exams. Remember to submit a Your Voice Matters (YVM) there is a lack of course offerings. Have attended the welcome for Dean Casper (College of Arts and Letters) and a reception honoring Dean Scott Walter (Library) at the University House.
- Ashley Tejada, President: Karina and I travelled to Washington, D.C., to accept the Seal of Excelencia, a designation for SDSU as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Attended the University Senate Committee, Strategic Plan Activity Numbers 8 and 13, Campus Fee Advisory Committee (CFAC), and will be meeting with Dean Barry Chung and Dr. Wood. Planning a Mission Valley Task Force meeting. 11/17 after ASUC is an A.S. All Council dinner. 12/8 is the A.S. All Council holiday dinner.
- Karina Esteban, Executive Vice President: Your Mental Health Matters Week is from 11/29 through 12/3. Will be travelling with SDSU Athletics for their next game. Homecoming Week is next week. Check out the Homecoming Instagram for updates.
- Shawki Moore, Vice President of External Relations: Planning an event for civic engagement in December. Presented to the SDSU football and basketball teams regarding civic engagement. California State Student Association (CSSA) will be in-person in January, March and May.
- Austin Barber, Vice President of Financial Affairs: Aztecs Rock Hunger (ARH) food drive is from 10/22-11/14. We will be canning at the Men’s basketball game tonight. The ARH Carnival is tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Working on funding policies at the Financial Affairs Committee (FAC).
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: There is a Men’s basketball game tonight. A.S. will have a suite at Homecoming. There is a University House event on 11/29 from 2-4 p.m. There is an A.S. All Council meeting next week and Counseling and Psychological Services will present.
- Beth Bridges, ASBOD Student-At-Large: Food pantry volunteer training is on Thursday from 4-5 p.m. The A.S. Monthly Minute is up on the A.S. Instagram. Please sign up for ARH tabling.
- Alexia Oduro, ASBOD Student-At-Large: Props to Karina and Ashley for representing SDSU in Washington D.C as they receive the Seal of Excelencia as a Hispanic-Serving Institution. The A.S. accommodation form is up.
- Margot Ermer, ASBOD Student-At-Large: The A.S./Greek Council clean-up on Halloween went really well and collected 441 pounds of trash.
- College of Arts and Letters (CAL) Council: Having a collaboration with Colleges in February 2022 and working closely with Dean Casper.
- Fowler College of Business Council: The CBC Social went well. We received a great number of applications for the vacant CBC representative.
- College of Education Student Council: No report.
- College of Engineering Student Council: ‘Pumpkin Drop’ event went well. The Graduate Research Fairs is on 11/29 from 12-4 p.m.
- College of Health and Human Services Student Council (CHHSCC): The transfer student event at Oggi’s went well. Dr. Virginia Loh-Hagan visited the CHHSCC to talk about the APIDA Center.
- College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts (PSFA) Student Council: We have a general body meeting. The “Tacos with Transfers” event is tomorrow. We have a new VP of External Relations. The Donuts with the Dean event is coming up.
- College of Sciences Student Council (CSSC): The department chairs came to the last CSSC meeting. The Sciences club fair is from 11/14-11/19. The retreat is on 11/23.
- Graduate Student Association (GSA): No report.
- Undeclared College Council (UCC): Spring registration workshop will be held in the Visionary Suite.
X. ANNOUNCEMENTS
- There is an Aztec Adaptive Sports event at Oggi’s tonight.
- Dance Marathon event from 5-6 p.m. at Cuicacalli.
- College Council Retreat is on 11/14. Please RSVP as the form will close soon.
- The Homecoming National Panhellenic Council Yardshow is on Friday, 11/12.
