- University Senate Designee, Dr. Cezar Ornatowski: No report.
- University Vice President for Student Affairs Designee, Dr. Andrea Dooley: No report.
VIII. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION
- General Consent Agenda (Action):
It was moved and seconded to approve the General Consent Agenda.
TOGATOROP/OSINFOLARIN CARRIED - General Consent Report (Information): The general consent report was reviewed via electronic copy. For further reference please request a printed copy of the General Consent Report copy from the Government Secretary.
IX. INTRODUCTION OF NEW LEGISLATIVE MATTERS

X. REPORTS OF UNIVERSITY COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Ronnie Cravens, Vice President of University Affairs:
- Gave an update on the University Affairs Board.
- Reminded members to practice self-care.
- Chris Thomas, President:
- Congratulations for SDSU on being number five in the nation for sending students to study abroad.
- Informed members about the current campus projects including the Aztec Healing Garden and the ENS 700 Field.
- There are applications available for the Aztec Student Union Board Representative position and the A.S. College of Business Council Representative will open at the end of the week.
- The AS Holiday Party will take place in the Alumni Center on December 5 at 5 pm, after our all-council meeting.
- Discussed the Curriculum Approval Process Committee target of eight-months to approve curriculum.
- Nickolas Wohlman, Executive Vice President:
- Will continue planning Mental Health Week, scheduled for February 2019.
- Spring Retreat will take place on January 26, 2019, on campus.
- Aztecs Achievement Awards will be April 25, 2019.
- Battle of the Bands will take place December 6 at 5-7 pm in Montezuma Hall.
- Michael Wiafe, Vice President of External Relations:
- Attended California State Student Association (CSSA) at SLO.
- Gave an update on “Keeping Dream Alive”, a conference at Sacramento State University that he and Stephanie Estrada will be attending next week.
- Gave an update on External Relations Board and the district visits to local offices.
- CSSA is starting an analytics team directed at underserved students to discuss what makes a successful student.
- Christian Onwuka, Vice President of Financial Affairs:
- Aztecs Rock Hunger raise 590,530pounds of food! Grateful for the partnership and support from everyone. He commended the College of Health and Human Services for raising the most of any college.
- Will work on the Alumni endowment plan.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: None.
- Tomi Osinfolarin, ASBOD Student-at-Large:
- There is a Blood Drive today from 10 am – 8pm in Viejas Arena.
- Latrel Powell, ASBOD Student-at-Large: None.
- Warsan Artan, ASBOD Student-at-Large: None.
- College of Arts and Letters:
- Gave a statement on behalf of the situation at the border. There will be a social media post through Associated Students and will provide resources to students affected.
- College of Business:
- There will be a General Education committee for any concerns.
- College of Education:
- Will wrap gifts on Monday to send to Tijuana. There is a bin in EBA-250. Collections will happen through Friday.
- The second Annual Educational Symposium for professional development will occur in April.
- College of Engineering:
- There will be an Org Fair happening soon.
- Engineering Week is in February!
- The Biomedical Engineer Society will host a symposium on November 30 in Aztlan from 9am – 1pm.
- College of Health and Human Services:
- There will be a Ronald McDonald House event on Sunday from 4-8 pm.
- Congratulations to CHHS on winning the council competition for Aztecs Rock Hunger!
- College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts:
- There will be a beach clean-up on December 9 at Mission Beach at 10 am.
- Sent an invitation to Kathleen Kennedy, President of Lucas Films, to visit campus.
- Gave an update on the Lend-a-Hand campaign.
- College of Sciences:
- “Discover Your Dream” will happen in Spring.
- There will be an AS forum on December 6 from 12-2 pm in front of Chipotle.
- Graduate Student Association:
- Will have conversations about affordable housing through SDSU West.
- Travel funds were approved by the Student Success Fee.
- There will be a graduate student panel for undergrads in Spring semester.
- Undeclared College:
- Will have an event with Commuter Student Board.
