It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

There was a motion to move Item VIII. E. #UCB S17-01 A Resolution to Condemn Anti-Semitism (Action) as item A, item C. #UCB S17-03 Resolution to Retire the San Diego State University Mascot and Moniker, 2nd reading, and item D. #UC S17-02 A Resolution to Create a Permanent, On-Campus Food Pantry at SDSU, 2nd Reading to immediately following item A and to move Invited Speakers before Public Comment.

It was moved and seconded to replace “The Jewish Student Union, the Students for Justice in Palestine, the SDSU Hillel Center, The Daily Aztec, and other organization directly associated with SDSU” with “all organizations” on lines 165-166.
EID/LEDESMA FAILED
It was moved and seconded to include “Demonize Israel” back on line 28.
DELBICK/SKOLNICK CARRIED
It was moved and seconded to remove “the Students for Justice in Palestine” on line 165.
SENSION/LEDESMA FAILED
It was moved and seconded to add back “Whereas, the Department of State…” to “However, criticism of Israel…” on lines 25-43.

It was moved and seconded to add back “Resolved, the above clause will not be used…” on lines 134-136.

The #UCB S17-01 A Resolution to Condemn Anti-Semitism was approved as amended. - #UCB S17-03 Resolution to Retire the San Diego State University Mascot and Moniker, 2nd reading (immediately following item A): Student Diversity Commission presented the resolution and discussed any changes made with University Council members.
- #UCB S17-02 A Resolution Create a Permanent, On-Campus Food Pantry at SDSU, 2nd reading (immediately following item B): Student Support Commission presented the resolution and discussed any changes made with University Council members.
- General Consent Agenda (Action): Postponed.
- General Consent Report (Information): The general consent report was reviewed via electronic copy. For further reference please request a full copy of the agenda copy from the Government Secretary.
