VI. PUBLIC COMMENT

  1. Kasey Rovaldes and Amy Igarashi, representatives from AIESEC spoke on the international volunteering and internship opportunities for students.

VII. INTRODUCTION OF NEW LEGISLATIVE MATTERS

  1. #UCB S16-01 Resolution in Support of Eliminating Smart Classroom Rental Fees (Action):
    Dominic Bilotti made the following friendly amendments: 1) Change the author from “Association of Anthropology Students” to “Associated Students of San Diego State University”. 2) Replace “our” to “the” and “as” to “of” on line 26 to read as WHEREAS, the mission of the Association of Anthropology Students…3) Change “bylaws” to “amendments” on line 54.
    There were no objections to those changes.
    Question was called. There were no objections.
    The amendment was approved. CARRIED, (11-6-0)
    Pablo Tinoco yielded for Nicholas Case to speak on the resolution.
    Question was called. There were no objections.
    The resolution was approved as amended. CARRIED, (16-0-1)

It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting.
