I. CALL TO ORDER
Chief Justice Scarlett Walker called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.
II. ROLL CALL

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

VII. MEMBER REPORTS
- JAC Roles Updates
1. Requirements - Andrea reviewed the requirements tracker. Please remind all your buddies to submit their second requirement.
2. Elections Committee - None

B. Buddy Updates
- What have you done to get in touch with buddies this week?
- Grace Cho - send them the resource bank
- Olivia Van Winkle - requirement due this Friday, sent text messages
- Andrea Alaniz - submit the requirements
- Olivia Alfonso - emailed them about requirements
- Frances Treptow - emailed them last week about REAFs and requirements
C. University Senate Committee Update
- Student Grievance Committee (Scarlett): Will meet as necessary. Voted in as Vice-Chair for SGC.
- Liberal Studies Committee (Olivia VW): Done for the semester.
- Campus Development Committee (CDC) and Deferred Maintenance Advisory Committee (DMAC) - Andrea: No reports as they have not met yet.
VIII. INFORMATION.
- Proposed Amendments to the A.S. Student Bill of Rights, Bylaws, Policy and Procedures, and Board Charters (Information)
- Three proposed amendments to the A.S. Student Bill of Rights, Sustainability/Green Love Commission, and Graduate Student Association were submitted to the A.S. Government prior to the 10/22 deadline this semester. Next week, representatives will be invited so they can present their changes.
Assignments for each amendment:
- Grace and Frances - GSA
- Olivia A. and Dom - Green Love
- Andrea and Olivia VW - Student of Rights
Scarlett told them to review and have questions ready for the presenters.
B. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP)
- Reviewed information regarding Fowler College of Business Representatives and attending the CBC meetings. Hope to have more information at next week’s meeting.
- Still currently reviewing Jesus Guzman’s ISP.
C. Attendance
Frances reviewed the attendance. Reminded the Justices to let their buddies know, those who have multiple absences, to submit a REAF to clear their absences.
IX. ACTION
- Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP)
It was moved and seconded to table Jesus Guzman’s ISP until next week.

It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo for 10/23/25, as attached.

C. Request for Excused Absences (REAFs)
1. It was moved and seconded to approve Ava’s REAF for missing the 10/20 BOD meeting.

2. It was moved and seconded to table Skylar’s REAF (9/17 CLC) indefinitely because CLC did not meet this day.
VAN WINKLE/FLORES SCHAFER CARRIED (6-0-0)
3. It was moved and seconded to approve Quentin’s REAF for missing 8/27 All Council.

4. It was moved and seconded to approve Olivia’s REAF for missing 9/25 JAC.

X. ADVISOR REPORTS
- Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: No report.
- Executive Director Designee: The Aztecs Rock Hunger initiative/campaign starts next week and goes through 11/30. SDSU Homecoming starts next week too!
