I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Shaye Phung called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m

II. ROLL CALL 

  1. Voting Members Present: Shaye Phung, Scarlett Walker, Annie Scadron, Lorena Ford, Shalena Hollie, Grace Cho, Sagel Provancher
  2. Voting Members Absent: None.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Janice Dils, Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: None.
  5. Guests Present: None.

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT:

  1. The resource bank was sent out to all the A.S. leaders; thank you to the Justices for sending them out. Your Voice Matters push week was moved to April.

  2. Working with the executive officers in terms of the ISP recommendations.

    VII. MEMBER REPORTS

  1. JAC ROLE UPDATES
  1. Requirements: No update.
  2. Awards Committee: Awards Committee was cancelled last Friday.
  3. Elections Committee: We had more student-at-large students at last week’s meeting. We reviewed parliamentary procedure and will review the Elections Code at this week’s meeting.

B. Buddy Updates - No update.
C. University Senate Committee Update
Scarlett reported that the Student Grievance Committee met last week. Conversations surrounded Canvas and syllabi communication between professors and students. Will reach out to Trinity since it may coincide with the Academic Partnership Agreement. 

VIII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance - Scarlett reviewed the attendance.
  2. Individualized Substitution Plans (ISPs) - There were ISPs submitted from Jesus Gomez, Anthony Quiroz, Maya Gerassi, Mohamed Erekat, Aliza Siddiqui, Ida Pountney, Arjun Mohan, and Colin Thurrell. The executive officers will review the ISP recommendations and they should be ready for approval at the next meeting.

    It was moved and seconded to approve the 1/30 A.S. Elections Committee minutes, as attached.

    X. ADVISOR REPORTS 

  1. Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: Really missed this Council the last two meetings.
  2. Executive Director Designee:
    1. GreenFest headliner will be announced tonight at the Silent Disco! You will receive an email to claim your ticket to see the headliner in a special section for A.S. leaders. 
    2. A.S. elected and appointed applications are available on the A.S. elections website. The deadline is on Friday!
