I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Victor Plunkett called the meeting to order at 12:01 p.m. (PT).

II. ROLL CALL

  2. Voting Members Absent: None.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Janice Dils, Dr. Lee Mintz
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent:  None.
  5. Guests Present: Sophia Blas, Renz Cabrera, Sam Lingao, Jamie Uribe

III. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

V. PUBLIC COMMENT

Sam Lingao let the Justices know that Explore SDSU will be an option to fulfill the tabling requirement as A.S. is looking for student leaders to table on Saturday, April 13.

VI. CHAIR'S REPORT

  1.  Victor reported that communication about Explore SDSU should be sent to all their buddies.

VIII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance - Postponed until the next meeting.

  2. Proposed Amendments to the A.S. Bylaws and Charters Presentations
    #BA S24-01: Aztec Student Union Board 
    #BA S24-02: Awards Committee 
    #BA S24-03: Student Support Commission
    #BA S24-04: College of Education Student Council 

    Jamie Uribe (ASUB), Sam Lingao (Awards), Sophia Blas (SSC) and Renz Cabrera (COESC) explained the reasoning why the charter amendments were necessary to the organization. Members asked questions. Victor reported that they will be voting on them next week and will go to the A.S. Board of Directors on Monday, April 8.

  1. Appointments & Resignations - None.

  2. Request for Excused Absences - Postponed until next week.

  3. Awards Committee Minutes
    It was moved and seconded to approve the 3/13 Awards Committee meeting minutes, as attached.
