Casey Saplan called the meeting to order at 12:03 p.m. (PT).

III. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes, with an amendment to reflect Kaetlyn Malatesta’s abstention on her REAF.

VI. CHAIR'S REPORT

Casey Saplan reported that we need a new Justice on the A.S. Elections Committee. They meet on Fridays at 2 p.m. if anyone wants to switch their responsibilities. Also, elected applications close on 2/16 at 4 p.m. 

VII. MEMBER'S REPORT

Aliza provided an update on requirements. Group then discussed options for a hearing and agreed that there should be some reprimand for missing requirements.

1. Bylaw Amendment Deadline - Spring 2024
   It was moved and seconded to approve the spring 2024 bylaw amendment deadline to March 13, 2024.

   It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo of 2/9/24, as attached.

X. ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Toby - Sean Elo Rivera will be holding a canvassing opportunity tomorrow, 2/10 from 9am - 12pm. Opportunity to talk about and learn more about his reelection campaign. Additionally, the 2/15 Vote A Palooza event was highlighted.
2. Casey - is now the President of PoliSci Honor Society. If students are interested in joining, please contact Casey.
3. Sam Ramtin - Reminded students about the A.S. Elected Application Deadline. Encouraged students to spread the word.
