I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Victor Plunkett called the meeting to order at 11:02 a.m. (PT).

II. ROLL CALL

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

VI. CHAIR'S REPORT

Victor reported on the following:
A. The A.S. and University Leaders Reception is on Thursday, September 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the University House. Please remember to RSVP.
B. Sam Lingao, A.S. Executive Vice President, sent out an email regarding tabling opportunities and about the weekly morale event, Thursdays Together, in the A.S. Office.

VII. MEMBER REPORT 

  1. Toby reminded the Justices that the CSU Board of Trustees will be meeting to vote on a tuition increase next week. 

VIII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance - The attendance was reviewed.
  2. Overview of Parliamentary Procedures: Janice did an overview of parliamentary procedures.
  3. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISPs): Victor reviewed what an ISP is and the process in which ISPs are approved. Chris Olfato, A.S. Health and Human Services Representative on ASUC submitted an ISP. 
  4. Deadline for Requirements Discussion: The Justices discussed the deadline for the three requirements that the A.S. leaders will have to complete. A proposed date of November 10 is a possibility and will vote on it officially next week.

IX. ACTION

  1. Appointments & Resignations
    It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo for 9/8/23, as attached.
