I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Jordan Valdez called the meeting to order at 11:05 a.m. (PT).

II. ROLL CALL

  2. Voting Members Absent: Ethan Ho, Rebecca Marconi
  3. Non-Voting Members Present:  Janice Dils
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent:  Dr. Lee Mintz
  5. Guests Present:  None.

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

IV. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES 

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes of 4/14/23.

V. PUBLIC COMMENT:

None. 

VI. CHAIR'S REPORT:  

Jordan reported that this is the second to last meeting.  Appointments and Review Committee met this past Wednesday to select the Board of Directors Student-at-Large and the committee will meet on Wednesday, April 26, for Justices.  We will determine what we do for the last meeting for an end of the year celebration.

VII. MEMBERS REPORT:

None. 

VIII. INFORMATION 

  1. Attendance:  The attendance was reviewed by Jordan.
  2. Requirements Review:  Jordan, Noor and Derrick reviewed the requirements for all Council members.  At the last meeting, the deadline was extended for Wednesday, April 26 at 11:59 p.m.  There were a number of A.S. leaders who did not complete any of the three requirements.  We will call the seven A.S. leaders who did not complete any of the requirements for a special meeting for next week.

  1. Janice reminded the members to complete the study abroad recommendations.
