I. CALL TO ORDER 

Chief Justice Jordan Valdez called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m. (PT).

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes of 2/17/23.

VI. CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. Please remind your buddies about the requirements being due.
  2. Remember that with Elections coming up, remember your duties as a Justice in regards to public neutrality.
  3. Ethan Ho is the appointed Justice for the remainder of the semester.

VIII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance:  The attendance was reviewed by Jordan.  Justices will reach out to some of the members who have been missing meetings.
  2. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP) Update:  Palni provided an update in regards to Malia and Alvin’s ISP (HHS reps) for missing ASUC this semester.

IX. ACTION 

  1. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP) Update

    It was moved and seconded to approve the ISP for Malia and Alvin (HHS).

    A friendly amendment was made by Noor to have a four week check-in for Malia and Alvin.  There was no objection by Rebecca.
    The motion was carried (5-0-0)

  2. Appointments & Resignations
    It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations for 2/24/23. BHATT/AMOBI       CARRIED (5-0-0)

  3. Requests for Excused Absences (REAFS) - None.
  4. Awards Committee Minutes 
    It was moved and seconded to approve the Awards Committee minutes of 2/16.
