I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Jordan Valdez called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m. (PT).

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

This is the second to last meeting of the semester. Great job! The Dave & Busters End of the Celebration - please RSVP. The University House End of Semester event is on Thursday, December 8 at 12:30 p.m. Attended the A.S. Board of Directors meeting to review the SDSU Children’s Center Board.

VII. MEMBERS REPORT

A. Derrick: Attended the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Senate Committee and provided updates regarding the Student Ability Success Center (SASC) and possibly having the name changed.
B. Noor: Attended the Staff Affairs Committee (University Senate) meeting and discussed a campus building name change without notice.
C. Rebecca: Attended the Undergraduate Curriculum (University Senate) Committee meeting and provided updates regarding modifications to syllabi.
D. Palni: Attended the Campus Development Committee (University Senate) and provided updates regarding power outages on campus.

VIII. INFORMATION

A. Attendance: Patrick reviewed the attendance.
B. Requirement Review: Noor and Derrick provided an update regarding the requirements that were due at 11:59 p.m. last night.

B. Requests for Excused Absences (REAFS)
It was moved and seconded to approve Colin’s REAF for missing UC on 11/16.

It was moved and seconded to approve Nina’s REAF for missing UC on 11/16.
