Chief Justice Jordan Valdez called the meeting to order at 11:04 a.m. (PT).

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

A.S. Vacancy Ad-Hoc Committee will meet on October 17-18.  Reminder to sign up for the 90th Anniversary of A.S. event on 10/7.  Janice will resend the RSVP.

VII. MEMBERS REPORT

Chike reported that he received a message from Beth Bridges, A.S. Shared Governance Assistant regarding appointments.

Patrick reviewed the attendance.

B. Bylaw Amendment Deadline
Based on the approval timeline for the bylaw amendments within Judicial Affairs Council and the Board of Directors, the deadline is set for Wednesday, October 26 at 4 p.m. for the fall 2022 semester.

A. Individualized Substitution Plans (ISPs)
It was moved and seconded to approve Nick Ables’ ISP for missing Campus Life Council for the fall semester.

X. ANNOUNCEMENTS

A. Reminder that California Native Day is today!  Please visit the Native Resource Center from 12-2 p.m. today!
B. Congrats to Patricio for being highlighted on the A.S. Instagram for Latinx Heritage Month!
C. Hawaiian History Month will be celebrated by the Pacific Islander Student Association on Wednesday, September 28 from 3-4:30 p.m.  More details to come soon!
