I.  CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Grace de Vega called the meeting to order at 12:01 p.m. (PT).

II.  ROLL CALL

III.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

IV.  APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous JAC meeting minutes of 4/6.

VI.  CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. There is a special meeting on 4/25 to approve 22/23 appointments.
  2. There is an All Council meeting on 5/4 at 3:30 p.m.
  3. There will be an 4/27 incoming/outgoing A.S. leader mixer from 5-7 p.m.
  4. RSVP for the Aztec Achievement Awards if you have not yet.

VII.  MEMBER REPORTS - None.

VIII.  INFORMATION

  1. Attendance - Lin reviewed the attendance.
  2. Requirements Review - The Council a discussion regarding those who did not complete all of the Council requirements as listed on the bylaws.  They will reach out to those who did not and call them into a JAC meeting for a hearing.

  1. A.S. Bylaws, Charter and Code Amendments - Spring 2022
    1. #BA S22-01: College of Sciences Student Council
      It was moved and seconded to approve the CSSC bylaw amendment proposal upon contingent of the word “expand”.

    2. #BA S22-02 College of Arts and Letters Student Council 
      It was moved and seconded to approve the College of Arts & Letters Student Council bylaw charter with the amended text for Section 23 A.S. University Council Representatives, Subsection 10 to read:  “Ensure that one meeting of every RSO is attended by at least one A.S. Representative each semester.”
