Chief Justice Grace de Vega called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. (PT).

VI.  CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. The next couple of JAC meetings will be virtual.
  2. There is an open vacancy on the A.S. Judicial Affairs Council and the application closes on Monday, 1/24.
  3. Please visit the A.S. Elections page for updated information, especially the schedules for both Elections and Appointed seats.

    Lindsey reviewed the attendance.  
  2. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP) Update
    There is not an update regarding ISPs for the spring 2022 semester.

IX.  ACTION

  1. Proposed Amendments to the A.S. Bylaws: A.S. Elections Code
    Based on feedback provided by the Spring 2021 A.S. Elections Committee, amendments were made to the A.S. Elections Code. Grace reviewed the A.S. Elections Code.
    It was moved and seconded to approve the amendments to the A.S. Elections Code.

  1. If you are interested in applying for the Student Research Symposium (March 4-5) in Montezuma Hall, the applications are due on Friday.
