I.  CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Grace de Vega called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. (PDT).

II.  ROLL CALL

III.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

VI.  CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. The Elections Coordinator position is still open.
  2. Donate to Aztecs Rock Hunger!
  3. There is an All Council Meeting on Wednesday, 11/10/21, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the topic is mental health.  If you are able to, please attend!

VII.  MEMBER REPORTS

  1. There is a vacancy in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts (PSFA).  We will re-open in the spring.

VIII.  INFORMATION

  1. Attendance
    Lindsey reviewed the attendance.
  2. Requirements Overview
    Trent reviewed the requirement statuses of all A.S. leaders after the October 22 deadline.  The Justices are asked to reach out to their buddies for follow-up for those who did not submit their requirements.
  3. JAC Role Assignments
    Jordan and Rebecca will be sitting on the Elections Committee and Zenas Crawley will be sitting on the Awards Committee.
  4. Bylaw Amendment Review
    1. Requirements
    2. College of Engineering Student Council
      Grace asked the Justices to review the College of Engineering Student Council bylaw amendments and assigned areas of review. Tito Hernandez, College of Engineering President, will attend the JAC meeting next week to answer any questions about the amendment changes.

IX.  ACTION

    It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo for 10/29/21.

    It was moved and seconded to approve Kailey Quezada’s (Education) ISP.

    1. It was moved and seconded to approve Stephen’s REAF for missing the 10/25 ASBOD meeting.

X.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Spring registration starts next week! 
  2. Donate to Aztecs Rock Hunger and ensure that JAC is referenced!
  3. A.S. President Ashley Tejada and A.S. Executive Vice President Karina Esteban accepted the Seal of Excelencia (Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) designation) in Washington D.C. to represent SDSU. Only 24 Universities nationwide received them.
