I.  CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Grace de Vega called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. (PDT).

VI.  CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. Icebreaker: Favorite songs for the JAC playlist.
  2. Leanne Locano is working with Kole to find another University Senate Committee to sit on, however she sits on the Aztec Shops Board of Directors and asked if attending this meeting would count as her requirement.
  3. The current vacancies are PSFA, Education and Business.  The Elections Coordinator position is open until October 22.

    Lindsey reviewed the attendance.
  2. JAC Bylaw Amendments: Requirements & Elections
    Grace reviewed requirement sections of the bylaws and had a collaborative discussion on changes.
  3. JAC Buddies and Role Assignments
    JAC buddies were assigned to each Justice.
    1. Trent: Engineering, Student Support Commission, ASUB, and GSA
    2. Lindsey: Education, Community Service Commission, BOD SALs
    3. Jasmyne: College of Arts & Letters, SDC, and Green Love
    4. Zenas: PSFA, CLC SALs, UCC

    It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo for 10/15/21.
