I.  CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Grace de Vega called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. (PDT).

II.  ROLL CALL

III.  APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve today’s agenda.

It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes of 9/10/21.

VI.  CHAIR'S REPORT

  1. The JAC Ad-Hoc Vacancy Committee was filled with their last member on Wednesday and we are working to find a time that works with all committee members.

VII.  MEMBER REPORTS

  1. Trent reported that there will be a submission of changes for the College of Engineering Student Council (CESC) charter.

VIII.  INFORMATION

  1. Attendance
    Grace reviewed the attendance, on behalf of Lindsey, and noted that she will reach out to Noah Wilson, who is not required to submit an ISP.

  2. Review Draft of Requirement Newsletter (Jasmyne)
    Jasmyne reviewed a draft of the resource requirement newsletter to provide to the A.S. leaders in terms of fulfilling their requirements.  The deadline to submit is October 22.

     

  3. Individualized Substitution Plans (ISPs)
    Grace provided an update regarding the initial ISP reach out to three A.S. leaders who have not attended a Wednesday Council meeting and had a discussion with the Justices regarding ISP action for next week.

IX.  ACTION

  1. Appointments and Resignations
    It was moved and seconded to approve the Appointments and Resignations memo of   9/17/21.

X.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Grace announced that Constitution Day is today and at Templo Mayor, she is hosting Jeopardy from 12-1 p.m.
  2. Janice reminded the Justices that the University Leaders Reception is on Wednesday, September 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the University House.
