I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Diego Ramirez called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. (PDT).

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

Diego reported that there is a College of Arts & Letters Representative  vacancy; Aztec Achievement Award nomination applications become available on the A.S. website on February 15; and appointed and elected position applications are now available on the A.S. website.

1. Darren discussed the idea of virtual tabling opportunities.

VIII. INFORMATION

1. Aztecs Rock Hunger Update – Victor Penera, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs and Chair of Aztecs Rock Hunger (Time Certain 9:10 a.m.):
   Victor  thanked the Judicial Affairs Council for their support of  the Aztecs Rock Hunger campaign in the fall and shared information on the Financial Peer Literacy Program.
2. A.S. Leaders’ Duties/Requirements:
   1. Fall 2020
   2. Spring 2021

   Austin provided updates about the A.S. leaders’ duties and requirements for the Fall 2020 semester. The duties/responsibilities requirements for Spring 2021 was discussed and will be an action item at next week’s meeting.

X. ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Guan announced that there is a CSU survey regarding South West Asian/North African (SWANA) students.  Good luck to Grace as she is applying to be a CSU Student Trustee!  
2. Janice announced that there is an All Council Meeting next week and the applications for elected and appointed positions are open.
3. Grace announced that that in Lobby Corps and External Relations Board, they will doing a lot of district visits and the California Higher Education Student Summit is in March. 
4. Darren announced that he is Chair of the “More Than Music” Festival scheduled for February 18.  There is an opportunity drawing for a $50 Michael’s gift card and original artwork to raise money for the San Diego Black LGTBQ Coalition.  Venmo @sdsurotaract to enter into the opportunity drawing, starting at $3.  
5. Diego announced he was a part of a research internship this past summer called UCSD/SDSU Cancer Partnership.  If you know anyone interested, they are having info sessions next week.
