SPECIAL MEETING

I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Christopher Lee called the meeting to order at 8:02 am in the Visionary Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

  1. Voting Members Present: Christopher Lee, Margot Ermer, Mackenzie Miller, Diego Ramirez, Katrina Mogannam, Tiana Loving.
  2. Voting Members Absent: Maryana Khames.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Jennifer Esquivel-Parker, Dr. Lee Mintz.
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: None.
  5. Visitors Present: None. 

III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda for today’s meeting.

Postponed to next meeting.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

  1. Chris Lee welcomed everyone back and listed the three goals for the semester, which include: 
    1. To have the ISP form finalized for next week.
    2. Plan to increase voter turnout. Last spring’s election voter turnout was 16%.
    3. Plan to organize the Google drive.

VII. INFORMATION

  1. The semester ahead:
    1. Chris Lee reviewed what to expect in the spring semester, including the A.S. elections. 
  2. Individualized Substitution Plan (ISP) update:
    1. Stephanie Estrada will be able to attend either BOD or UC meetings due to a class conflict from 4:00-6:40 pm. 
    2. Bri Ruloma will arrive 15 minutes late to UC meetings due to class.
    3. Aaron Eppstein completed an ISP but needs to provide more specific information about what meetings he will miss.
    4. Kiki Charles completed an ISP but needs to provide more specific information what meetings she will miss.
    5. Sophie Chance will miss UC meetings due to class on Wednesday from 4:00-6:40 pm.
    6. Jayden Mattson will miss UC meetings due to class on Wednesday from 4:00-6:40 pm.
    7. Jagger Gin will miss UC meetings due to class on Wednesday from 4:00-6:40 pm.
    8. Sara Jimenez will be arriving at UC meetings at 4:30 because she has a class.
    9. CJ Holt will not be able to attend BOD and CLC meetings due to class.

VIII. ACTION

  1. A.S. Elections 2020: 
    1. Updated College Seat Allocation
      It was moved and seconded to approve the updated seat allocation document, as attached.
