I. CALL TO ORDER

Chief Justice Christopher Lee called the meeting to order at 9:04 am in Presidential Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

  1. Voting Members Present: Margot Ermer, Maryana Khames, Christopher Lee, Tiana Loving, Mackenzie Miller, Katrina Mogannam, Diego Ramirez.
  2. Voting Members Absent: None.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Jennifer Esquivel-Parker
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: Dr. Lee Mintz.
  5. Visitors Present: None.

III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda.

IV. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes, as attached.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT 

Christopher Lee reported on:

  1. Asked members to review the bylaws and codes at their own convenience.
  2. Asked members to wear their polos to the first JAC meeting of each month.
  3. Tabling is due this Friday, September 13th, and he will send out a reminder.

VII. INFORMATION

  1. Council Attendance: The council reviewed the attendance sheets.
  2. Requests for Excused Absences: Chris Lee asked JAC members to let members of the Councils know to fill out the request for excused absence form if they are going to miss a meeting.

IX. ACTION

  1. JAC Duties: It was moved and seconded to approve the roles of the members of JAC, as follows:
    a. Tiana Loving and Maryana Khames will serve on the Elections Committee.
    b. Mackenzie Miller and Margot Ermer are responsible for attendance.
    c. Diego Ramirez is responsible for requirements.
    d. Katrina Mogannam is responsible for ISP.
