I. CALL TO ORDER
Chief Justice Christopher Lee called the meeting to order at 9:01 am in Presidential Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

- Visitors Present: None.
III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA
It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda.

There were no previous minutes to be approved.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT
Christopher Lee reported on:
- Thanked everyone for attending the retreat and added that it is JAC’s role to serve students.
1. Katrina Mogannam proposed to split up the diversity training over the weekend and to have it begin earlier in the day.
2. Maryana Khames said that she enjoyed the games and that the Aztec Adventures were her favorite part. - Reviewed the JAC slides for orientation on Wednesday.
VII. INFORMATION
- Welcome: Christopher Lee welcomed everyone.
- Principles of a Justice: Christopher Lee reviewed the handout, as attached.
- Purpose of JAC: Included in the packet.
- Requests for excused absences: None.
- Parliamentary procedures: Postponed until next meeting on Sept 9.
IX. ACTION
- JAC Duties: Postponed until next meeting on Sept 9.
- Appointments and Resignations: It was moved and seconded to approve the appointments and resignations memo, as attached.
