I. CALL TO ORDER

Angelica Espinoza called the meeting to order at 9:03 am in State Suite at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

  2. Voting Members Absent: Kaila Cooper.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Jennifer Esquivel-Parker.
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: Dr. Lee Mintz.
  5. Visitors Present: Stephanie Estrada, Lane Yazzie, Erick Ramirez.

III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda.

IV. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

Tiana will be sending out an email today with events coming up to assist council members.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

Angie encouraged members to table on their own.

VII. VICE CHAIR REPORT

Vice Chair Chris shared about JAC’s role with Awards Committee and his ongoing conversations about how to get transfer and international students involved.

VIII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance: Katrina and Chris reviewed attendance.
  2. Elections Update: Erick said that applications became live on Friday.

IX. ACTION

A. Hearings for AS leaders that did not complete AS duties or turned them in late (Time Certain: 9:10 am):

a. It was moved and seconded to approve Lane Yazzie’s requirements and they must complete their Fall 2018 multicultural event by March 29 by 4 pm.

b. It was moved and seconded to approve Stephanie Estrada’s hearing for a late submission requirements.

c. It was moved and seconded to approve Tomi Osinfolarin’s requirement. He will turn in his RSO requirement by March 29 at 4 pm. He is also assigned one reprimand.

d. It was moved and seconded to approve Latrel Powell’s requirements and he must complete one hour of Fall 2018 tabling by March 29 at 4 pm.

e. It was moved and seconded to approve Ryan Du’s requirements and he must all his Fall 2018 duties by March 29 at 4 pm. Failure to do so will result in further action. He is assigned one reprimand.

f. It was moved and seconded to approve Noah Winne’s requirements and he must complete all duties by March 29 at 4 pm. Failure to do so will result in further action may be taken. He is assigned one reprimand.

g. It was moved and seconded to approve Chloe Sabio’s requirements and she must complete one hour of tabling and redo her RSO by March 29 by 4 pm.
