I. CALL TO ORDER

Kimberly Alli called the meeting to order at 8:22 am in Council Chambers at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

  2. Voting Members Absent: None.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Dr. Lee Mintz, Jennifer Esquivel-Parker.
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: None.
  5. Visitors Present: Beck Svensson, Nicolai Mldoninow.

III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda.

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT

Kim reported that Aztec Achievement Awards applications are available. Aztec Dance marathon was a success.

VII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance: Angelica reviewed the attendance.
  2. Resolution Process: Postponed to next week.

VIII. ACTION                      

  1. Appointments and Resignations:
    It was moved and seconded to approve Appointments and Resignations, as attached.

  2. Requests for Excused Absences:
    None.
  3. Last Chance Alternative (LCA) Proposals:
    1. Beck Svensson: It was moved and seconded to approve Beck Svensson’s Last Chance Alternative request proposal for the four remaining meetings. Associated Students duties should never be prioritized over class. He will go to Student Support Commission to work on a project. He will submit a LCA update before each CLC meeting, as attached.

    2. Harsh Varshney: It was moved and seconded to approve Harsh Varshney’s Last Chance Alternative request proposal, as attached.

  5. Elections Committee Minutes:
    It was moved and seconded to approve the Elections Committee minutes, as attached.

IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Aztec Dance Marathon was an impactful time. Russell expressed his appreciation for the Judicial Affairs Council for encouraging him to attend.

It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 9:44 am.
