I. CALL TO ORDER

Kimberly Alli called the meeting to order at 8:18 am in Council Chambers at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

  1. Voting Members Present: Kimberly Alli, Erick Ramirez, Daraja Carroll, Cynthia Medina, Michael Wiafe (late), Russell Parris, Angelica Espinoza.
  2. Voting Members Absent: None.
  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Dr. Lee Mintz (late), Jennifer Esquivel-Parker.
  4. Non-Voting Members Absent: None.
  5. Visitors Present: Beck Kamolov.

III. MODIFICATIONS OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda.

RAMIREZ/ESPINOZA

It was moved and seconded to amend the agenda to postpone the Resolution Process and Last Chance Alternative Proposals to next week.

ESPINOZA/MEDINA

The agenda was approved as amended.

It was moved and seconded to approve the previous minutes.

VII. INFORMATION

  1. Attendance:  Angelica reached out to Nicole Becker who will need to complete a Last Chance Alternative. She reached out to Karthik with no response. She will text him next.
  2. Council Members’ Duties: Daraja will reach out to the two members who did not turn in their outreach duties and will ask them to come to the next meeting.
  3. Resolution Process: Postponed to next week.

    It was moved and seconded to approve Appointments and Resignations, as attached.

    Postponed to next week. Nicole, Beck, Harsh are invited to the next meeting to present their Last Chance Alternative.

    It was moved and seconded to approve the Elections Committee minutes, as attached.

IX.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Michael went to the Cal State Student Association (CSSA) meeting this weekend at CSU Maritime. Two finalists for student trustees have been forwarded to the governor. Students for Quality Education would like CSSA to do more with them.
  2. Aztec Dance Marathon (ADM) is four days away!
