I. CALL TO ORDER
Kimberly Alli called the meeting to order at 8:22 am in Council Chambers at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
II. ROLL CALL

VI. CHAIR’S REPORT
Kim expressed that it was great to see everyone and connect with Monica, the new Elections Coordinator, at Retreat. Kim will send out the goals JAC established at Retreat to Jen to be on next week’s agenda.

It was moved and seconded to approve Appointments and Resignations, as attached.

B. Requests for Excused Absences
It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Angelica Espinoza for missing Judicial Affairs Council meeting on 12/11/17.
MEDINA/WIAFE CARRIED, (5-0-1)
It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Nickolas Wohlman for missing A.S. Leaders Retreat on 1/20/18.
PARRIS/CARROLL CARRIED, (6-0-0)
It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Alice Orozco for missing A.S. Leaders Retreat on 1/20/18.
WIAFE/MEDINA CARRIED, (5-1-0)
It was moved and seconded to approve the request for an excused absence from Daraja Carroll for missing A.S. Leaders Retreat on 1/20/18.
RAMIREZ/WIAFE CARRIED, (4-0-2)
C. Deadlines for Spring 2018:
The deadlines for Spring 2018 will be as follows:
- Recruitment – February 9 at 4 pm
- Submissions for Resolutions and bylaw amendments – March 2 at 4 pm
- All other duties – March 23 at 4 pm
It was moved and seconded to approve the Deadlines for Spring 2018, as listed above.
