Executive Vice President Tajuddin Henry called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.

VI. UNIVERSITY REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS
- SDSU Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: Midnight study break will take place next week. Requests that everyone take a break as they approach finals these next few weeks.

VIII. REPORTS OF CAMPUS LIFE COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Tajuddin Henry, Executive Vice President, reported on the following: Requesting one-on-one meetings for the year to review the progress and outcomes from the current year. These sessions will serve as an opportunity to discuss key takeaways and to identify necessary transitions. Additionally, the meetings will focus on defining actionable initiatives for the upcoming period.
- Kat Hernandez, A.S. President:Next week’s all-council meeting on Wednesday will include food in the Council Chambers. The individual will deliver an appreciation speech to recognize all student council members. There will also be a discussion on the feasibility of the Evolve Housing project in Phase 8 and plans for improved disability parking, with more details to be shared next week.
- Vincent Lin, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs: Cultural funding allocations have been completed, with the remaining appeals scheduled for Monday. The final FAC meeting will take place next Friday, and the consolidated budget is finished, marking the completion of the last presentations.
- Derrick Herrera, A.S. Vice President of External Relations:The last Executive Board meeting is on Monday, where the individual will transition Abi into his position. Abi has been performing excellently. The final tasks include his final exam and a budget advocacy session next Monday.
- Trinity Dang, A.S. Vice President of University Relations: The resolution for the university pool party was passed, and the event was a success. Adela expressed appreciation for Trinity’s efforts in organizing it. The individual is also working on the transition with Nadia, who is new to A.S., and encourages everyone to introduce themselves and offer a warm welcome.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: For the Aztec Achievement Awards event, the last details should be shared with Brian Levett to ensure everything is organized for everyone.
- Brian Levett, Government Affairs Assistant Director: No Report.
- Aliza Siddiqui, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Kareen Holstrom, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Janine Ezomo, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Aztec Student Union Board reported on the following: The focus is on transitioning events with the board. The next meeting will be on April 7th. "Get the Scoop" has successfully boosted applications for chair positions. The last meeting on April 14th addressed three waivers for the Makers Market. The APIDA Center was approved, and the next commissioner for the upcoming year has been appointed, with high praise for their qualifications. Additionally, the Aztec Pride name changed to SSC as "Spirit" was passed.
- Community Service Commission reported on the following: The available commission positions were discussed, along with transition documents. On April 17th, a recap was held, and brainstorming sessions took place for the upcoming year. Members were reminded to report their hours through Students in Leadership, and events available for service were also highlighted.
- Student Support Commission reported on the following:The focus is on planning for next semester. On April 17th, a major discussion took place regarding a master document for student support to address necessary corrections. On April 24th, elections were held, resulting in the appointment of a new secretary and Commissioner, and the team looks forward to her progress within the commission. Additionally, efforts are underway to reinstate the commuter board and collaborate with students who are interested in advocacy.
- Campus Community Commission reported on the following: The Campus Safety Committee recently worked on a skateboard-related project and participated in a cleanup initiative. On April 8th, they held a safety week discussion and shared updates about the commissioner appointments. Efforts are underway to manage transitions among team members. They also promoted their events on Instagram and, just a week ago, appointed Justin as their newest member as Commissioner.
- Recreation and Wellness Commission reported on the following: In their last meeting, held last week, a transition session was conducted with their supervisors and a representative to discuss key information for stepping into their new positions.
- Student Diversity Commission reported on the following: On the 16th, a DEI plan was discussed to update the student survey and address new topics for next semester. A new commissioner was also appointed, who is passionate and eager to take on the role.
- Green Love/Sustainability Commission reported on the following: Upcoming events for next semester were discussed, including a meeting with Dr. Bronner to review goals. On March 26th, their charter was updated, and they presented the inaugural Sustainability Award Scholarship. On April 9th, the Sustainability Summit was promoted, along with the Swap Shop event. The Spring 2025 budgeting and plans for next school year were also shared, and they have been working on a Zero Waste video.
- Marketing and Communications Commission reported on the following: No Report.
- Campus Life Council Student-at-Larges, Jack McFadden reported on the following: Discussed the lighting fixtures in the Student Union, highlighting how they could improve the space. He proposed integrating aesthetic lighting schemes that would extend across the campus, adding a visually appealing touch.
IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Tajuddin: Appreciates the council and is excited about tomorrow’s Aztec Achievement Award event.
- Derrick: Gives a warm congratulations to those graduating this semester and wishes those fulfilling Executive roles good luck next year.
- Katarina Hernandez: Her last Eccentric dance event this week.
- Julia Biesman: Rotaract is having their 5k mile fundraiser this Sunday for the Los Angeles fire.
- Jacie Foster: Second magazine for Feminomenon is launching this Friday at Scripps Cottage from 6-7:30 p.m.
- Milan Rawls: She is the next incoming Executive Vice President and is excited to get herself out there to make and be in representation for the students.
