Executive Vice President Tajuddin Henry called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

VI. UNIVERSITY REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS
- SDSU Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: Expressed gratitude for the SDSU Egaming Center as Student Affairs and Campus Diversity works closely with the center. As of this year San Diego State University was named a voter friendly campus, one of the few California schools to be designated. The newly constructed Student Affairs and Campus Diversity office has been opened.
- Esports Engagement Center Presentation, Zach McDaniel (Time Certain: 3:45 p.m.)The presentation given by Zach McDaniel was reviewed.

VIII. REPORTS OF CAMPUS LIFE COUNCIL MEMBERS
- Tajuddin Henry, Executive Vice President, reported on the following: Currently working on the Aztec Achievement Awards and the promotional materials for the event. Building out standardized transition documents with Arjun and Oliveira J.
- Kat Hernandez, A.S. President: When she was in Sacramento last week for California State University’s Advocacy Day. The Evolve housing development has officially made the ad-hoc committee consisting of three Associated Students and students from the Residential Education Office. An addition to the ongoing advocacy behind the scenes regarding the changes to campus parking.
- Vincent Lin, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs: Student Success Fee application fee had a record breaking year (5.2 million dollars worth of requests). The Financial Affairs Committee has been working on presenting to cultural organizations to encourage them to utilize their fundings. Campus program funding has essentially been closed for this academic year. Money has been allocated to those who requested funding. Mission Valley has launched an app to rent out their recreational spaces.
- Derrick Herrera, A.S. Vice President of External Relations: He’s working on an event with Council Member Sean Elo-Rivera where he would speak to the External Relations Board and District 9. He will be speaking at the External Relations Board from 10-11 a.m. The event is planned from 10-11 a.m. on April 7th.
- Trinity Dang, A.S. Vice President of University Relations: Your Voice Matters received 14 submissions about the issues on campus such as parking and housing issues, they will be working with various campus partners to draft a response for students. The Academic Partnership agreement passed through the University Affairs Board and got its first reading at University Council last week. Your Voice Matters push week is April 7th- April 10th. They will be kicking it off with a College Council Open House, followed by the Your Voice Matters resource fair on 4/8, with the extended invite of ten resource centers and campus partners. Invites should be sent to the University House pool party April 16th. There will also be a College Council Trivia Bowl on April 18th.
- Christina Brown, Executive Director: Election results will be closing tomorrow, March 27th at 7pm. She asks that everyone continues to remind everyone that you can apply for an appointed position after the election results are announced such as for the A.S. Board of Directors and Judicial Affairs Council.
- Brian Levett, Government Affairs Assistant Director: The nominations for the Aztec Achievement Awards close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday.
- Aliza Siddiqui, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Kareen Holstrom, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Janine Ezomo, ASBOD Student-At-Large, reported on the following: No report.
- Aztec Student Union Board reported on the following:
The recent Cooking with Chefs event acknowledged Jewish heritage. ASUB presented to the Financial Affairs Committee about their yearly budget. Working on transition documents for the incoming newly elected Executive Board/ Held a professional development session last Friday focused on resumes. Lastly, they opened a discussion about the renaming of the Aztec Pride Committee. - Community Service Commission reported on the following: Opened a community based survey for about 2 ½ weeks and had about 200 responses tailored to how they can get students involved in service. If you are interested in using a similar survey they have some advice regarding the use of Qualtrics. The Sharia’s Closet service event will be held this Friday From 2-5 p.m. Lastly, they will be reaching out to Produce Good to set up service events on either April 6th or April 13th.
- Student Support Commission reported on the following: None.
- Campus Community Commission reported on the following: Organizing a cornhole event while discussing campus safety which will be held on April 17th from 12-2 p.m.
- Recreation and Wellness Commission reported on the following: None.
- Student Diversity Commission reported on the following: Working on the Student Diversity Commission’s climate survey, which will be sent out after spring break recess. Patty Rea and Rodrigo Mercado are currently drafting new diversity equity and inclusion plans for Associated Students.
- Green Love/Sustainability Commission reported on the following: There have been a lot of discussions about AI and sustainability/ethics, in the last sustainability senate committee meeting led to great conversations worth taking note on for the future.. Hoping to plan an event similar to a brown bag lunch series surrounding AI usage and sustainability after discussions with James Frazee since the Sustainability Summit presented by the Presidential Sustainability Advisory Committee’s agenda is already set.
- Campus Life Council Student-at-Large reported on the following: Jack McFadden has a meeting tomorrow with Raquel Herriot and he hopes to make progress on his project with the bridge lighting.
- Marketing and Communications Commission reported on the following: Assisting in hosting a Vote a Palooza event which is tomorrow afternoon, March 27th. They had a recent guest speaker from an SDSU alumni who works for Fenty Hair. They gave great tips and also shared their experience being a marketing student at San Diego State University. They announced that A.S. phone wallet and sticker merchandise should be coming soon.
IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Tajuddin Henry: Encouraged graduating seniors to apply for Lamp of Leadership awards. A.S. will be tabling for Explore SDSU there will be opportunities for representatives to sign up for tabling. Reminded everyone to submit your Aztec Achievement Award applications/nominations. The SDSU National Pan-Hellenic Council is having a fundraiser at Handles. As elections close tomorrow make sure the great work you have done this semester continues on.
- Austin Emery: Rotaract is having a fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. at Handels for the students who go and get ice cream their proceeds go towards a service project.
- Janine Ezomo: Black Pre-Law Association is having their yearly social mixer with current law students, judges, and current attorneys.
- Kat Hernandez: Her dance group (Xcentric) is going to North Carolina for a dance competition. The College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts is having a showcase on April 8th.
- Julia Biesman: American Sign Language club is having a dinner for their Group Business meeting and it is American Sign Language only. She made us aware that an American Sign Language minor has been added.
