A.S. Executive Vice President, Bella Martelino called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

VI. UNIVERSITY REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS
- SDSU Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity Designee: Dr. Andrea Dooley reported on the following:
- Thank you for everything that you all do! Thank you to the Student Support Commission for the Economic Crisis Response filming and editing.
- There will be an email from Dr. Wood regarding mental health resources at SDSU.
- We have CARES Act funding remaining. Any eligible student will receive an allocation based on their estimated family contribution (EFC). It must be for a COIVD- related need. ECRT also has additional funds to distribute for basic needs. If you know anyone please refer them to ECRT.
- One of the UC members, Karla, spoke about physical health like ergonomics when students are studying and at their computers for a long period. This is great suggestion and will keep this in mind in regards to wellness.

- Aztec Student Union Board (ASUB): We had a Nooner and Paint with Bob Ross. Midnight Study Break is next week from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. We approved the spring events, but may have to change due the the spring break change. We are brainstorming hybrid events and working on GreenFest.
- Campus Community Commission (CCC): We are working on the Campus Safety Committee the COVID video, and wrapped up the semester today.
- Community Service Commission (CSC): Had the " Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) week. Excited for the spring to make this week even better! We all attended the ECRT Advocate training together. The last meeting is tomorrow. Shout out to best for her ne role as MarComm Commissioner and thanks to the her for a successful RAK week!
- Recreation and Wellness Commission: In - person ENS classes from the Mission Bay Aquatic Center ( MBAC) are available for registration, including sea kayaking, wakeboarding, stand up paddleboard, and surfing. ARC Indoors remains closed due to the purple tier status of San Diego County. ARC Outdoors are virtual programs continue. ARC construction is going strong and will ave a furniture kick-off meeting next week. Shout - out to Ari, Carissa, Ezra and Gabby for assisting with Mental Health Week.
- Student Diversity Commission (SDC): Thank you for everyone who came to the mixer last week! The A.S. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Plane is moving successfully.The full-time staff goals have been established and approved. In the spring, the goals for the students will be worked on. The A.S. Student DEI survey will be out soon.
- Student Support Commission (SSC): There is an ECRT Advocate Training on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Thank you to Dr. Dooley for all the hard work. We are working on the Student Ability Success Center resource video. The SDSU Children’s Center Board fundraiser at Rubio’s is tonight at Grossmont Center.
- Sustainability/Green Love Commission: We are working on a Zero-Waste audit and figuring out plans for zero waste once we come back.
- Campus Life Council Students-at-Large: Planning our coffee chats/office hours for next semester.
- Marketing and Communications Commission:
Beth reported on the following: 1. Excited to be here as the new MarComm Commissioner!
2. We are transitioning out to the next project from Day of the Life – they will be coming out on January 4. We will be collaborating and assisting with spring Elections as our next project.
- Board of Directors Student-at-Large:
1. Ashley is meeting with Ari tomorrow about ‘interconnectedness’. As a Board of Director member, will take into consideration that we are representing the student body regarding the spring break statement.
2. Antonio reported that he is hosting Midnight Study Break as a Homecoming Royal. This is a great way to take a break – please attend! Great job to Bella for being
the school spirit via Zoom during Homecoming.
3. On behalf of Abby Bella reported their are two weeks left in the semester. - Executive Vice President: Bella Martelino reported on the following:
1. Thank you for coming to the SDC Mixer! Proud of you, Dani and Alanie.
2. Working with Ari regarding a mentor/mentee program.
3. Mark your calendars for January 15 for the spring retreat.
4. Thank you for coming to the University Senate yesterday! Over 600 people attended. 5. Let’s finish strong this semester.

Christian Holt reported on the following:
1. At the University Council meeting that just occurred, there was an action item added to recommend to the University an A.S. position statement regarding spring break.
2. Great work to everyone! Please ensure you are focusing on your academics and continue to advocate for the students. The Concept of One is alive!
- Vice President of External Relations: Armando Sepulveda reported on the following:
- 1. Hope you have a wonderful end of the semester – finish as strong as you can! Take care of your mental health. You all are amazing!
- Vice President of Financial Affairs: Victor Penera reported on the following:

We have been communicating to recognized student organizations regarding the policy changes. An Instagram post will come out soon regarding this.

- Thank you for everyone for coming to the University Senate meeting yesterday! Thank you to Armando for rallying up students for advocating. Let’s make some change!
- Executive Director: Christina Brown reported on the following:
- 1.The A.S. All Council meeting will be next Wednesday, 12/9, at 3:30 p.m. Thank you for all your hard work all semester long!

- Ashley announced that if you are struggling with class to make sure you reach out to your professor for assistance.
