A.S. President Tarek Morsy called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m.

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda for May 5, 2023.

V. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION 

  1. Swearing-in of the 2023/24 A.S. Board of Directors  
    A.S. Vice President of External Relations, Melvin Ridley III, administered the oath of office to the A.S. Board of Directors Student-at-Large.
  2. Swearing-in of the 2023/24 A.S. Campus Life Council
    A.S. Executive Vice President, Sam Lingao, administered the oath of office to the A.S. Campus Life Council.
  3. Swearing-in of the 2023/24 A.S. University Council and College Council Presidents
    Ally Gallant, A.S. Vice President of University Affairs, administered the oath of office to the A.S. University Council and College Council Presidents.
  4. Swearing-in of the 2023/24 A.S. Judicial Affairs Council 
    A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs, Leo Pena, administered the oath of office to the Judicial Affairs Council justices. 
  5. Welcome and Report from the A.S. President, Tarek Morsy
    Tarek welcomed the new A.S. representatives, college council president’s, students at large, and justices. 

  6. Approval of the 2023 Summer and Fall Meeting Schedule (Action)
    Tarek reviewed the dates of the summer and fall 2023 meeting schedule for the Councils. 

    It was moved and second to approve the 2023 Summer and Fall meeting schedule.

VII. ANNOUNCEMENTS 

  1. Sam Lingao: Sam is looking forward to working with everyone this upcoming year.
  2. Christina Brown: The incoming and outgoing mixer was scheduled for Thursday but it will be on Friday in the student lounge located on the first floor of the union.
