I.  CALL TO ORDER

A.S. President Ashley Tejada called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. 

II.  ROLL CALL

III.  APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda for March 7, 2022.

It was moved and seconded to approve the minutes of February 21, 2022 and Special Board of Directors meeting of March 2, 2022.

    It was moved and seconded to approve the General Consent Agenda consisting of Financial Affairs Committee and Marketing and Communications Committee minutes.

    The General Consent Report was reviewed.

     

  3. Graduate Life and Diversity (GLAD) Center Proposal (Action) - Dr. Feion Villodas, Executive Director, Graduate Life and Diversity (Time Certain 3:45 p.m.)
    Dr. Feion Villodas presented the GLAD Center proposal.

    It was moved and seconded to approve the GLAD Center proposal.

  4. A.S. Quarter 2 Financial Review (Information) - Austin Barber, A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs
    Austin reviewed the financial review for Quarter 2.

X.  EXECUTIVE REPORTS

  1. President: Ashley Tejada reported on the following:
    1. 125th anniversary of SDSU is on Monday, March 14.
    2. Provided a University Senate Committee meeting regarding the land acknowledgement on syllabi.  
    3. Attended the SDSU Alumni Board and Research Foundation meetings.
  2. Executive Vice President: No report.
  3. Vice President of External Relations:  No report.
  4. Vice President of Financial Affairs: Austin Barber reported on the following:
    1. Financial Affairs Committee is preparing for the budget process for the upcoming 2022-23 academic year.
  5. Vice President of University Affairs:  Jennifer Schenkenfelder reported on the     following:
    1. Met with Provost Ochoa.
    2. Ashey and I will attend the Dean’s Meeting on April 9.
    3. Met with Dean Walter of the library and will collaborate on library programming.
    4. Attended an Undergraduate Council meeting.
  6. Executive Director: Christina Brown reported on the following:
     1. The Kumeyaay flag was raised in the student union.
