- Business and Financial Affairs Designee: No report.
- University President’s Designee: Dr. Luke Wood reported on the following:
- Provided an update regarding the Rest & Recovery Day and preserving the integrity of those days.
- Provided an update regarding Respondus Monitor and are planning to bring Student Affairs and Campus Diversity personnel for live proctoring during testing.
- Christian yielded time to Christy Samarkos, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity: Christy reported on the following:
- Honored Dr. Reynaldo Monzon and his contributions to the University.
- Shared Student Affairs and Campus Diversity personnel updates.

- Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Certification (Information)
Carlos Careaga, A.S. Finance Director, reviewed loan certification information regarding the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) that Associated Students is applying for. - SDSU Children’s Center Update (Information)
Christina Brown provided an update regarding the SDSU Children’s Center in regards to the temporary closure. Since Wednesday, there were two SDSU Children’s Center Board meetings to address concerns. There will be a special Children’s Center meeting tomorrow evening, as well. We are working on a COVID-19 protocol review and conducting retraining of the staff.

X. EXECUTIVE REPORTS
- President: Christian Holt reported on the following:
- Thank you to Crystal and Armando for helping to get “credit/no credit” passed at the University Senate for COVID semesters.
- SDSU is approved to receive 300 COVID vaccines.
- Will be setting A.S. President office hours.
- Will be meeting with the Imperial Valley A.S. President Lawson Hardrick.
- Meeting with Dr. Randy Timm regarding campus reentry.
- Met with Dr. Luke Wood, Jerry Sheehan and Crystal regarding Respondus Monitor.
- Please sign up for Duo Multi-Factor Authentication by March 5.
- Executive Vice President: Bella Martelino reported on the following:
- The A.S. Mixer is on Wednesday, February 10, from 5-6 p.m. Please outreach and spread the word.
- Aztec Achievement Awards theme is “1920’s Gatsby”. Awards Committee are meeting on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m.
- Interfraternity Council (IFC) will be hosting a Diversity Week.
- Vice President of External Relations: Armando Sepulveda reported on the following:
- California Higher Education Student Summit (CHESS) applications are open.
- California State Student Association (CSSA) is this weekend and we will be discussing items at the CSSA System wide Affairs Committee.
- Vice President of Financial Affairs: Victor Penera reported on the following:
- Met with the College Council Presidents at the Academic Affairs Committee.
- Received Campus Program Funding (CPF) proposals.
- Working on the cultural recognized student organization budget proposals.
- Promoting the Financial Education Peer program. Thanks for helping to spread the word.
- Vice President of University Affairs: Crystal Sanchez reported on the following:
- Rest and Recovery dates are 2/12, 3/8, 3/30 and 4/12. Please let me know if there are assignments or exams due on these days.
- Your Voice Matters push week is from 3/1-3/5.
- Working on academic integrity and student rights resource document.
- Executive Director: No report.
XI. REPORTS OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBERS
- Reece Breuckman, Student-At-Large: Please continue to be safe and ‘keep your circles small’ as we are close to a little normalcy.
- Ashley Tejada, Student-At-Large: Ashley reported on the following:
- Helping Ari Weizman and Student Support Commission and their resource guide.
- Want to acknowledge that the legal services that A.S. sponsors are a great resource, especially with leases and COVID.
- Met with Activity 45 regarding equity gaps.
- Assisting with Campus Safety.
- Please meet with your designated Council to assist and provide support for the members.
- Abigail Tamayo, Student-At-Large: Been enjoying meeting with the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity candidates.
- Antonio Marquez, Student-At-Large: No report.
- Hannah Berman-Schneider, Student-At-Large: Reviewed proposals at the General Education Assessment Committee for new courses at SDSU. There is a decrease in COVID cases in the residence halls.
- Joyce Chen, Student-At-Large: No report.
