I.  CALL TO ORDER

A.S. President, Christian Holt, called the meeting to order at 11:19 AM.

II.  ROLL CALL

  3. Non-Voting Members Present: Christina Brown. Dr. J. Luke Wood, Janice Dils

Christian reported the following after the ending of the closed session:  

  • In regards to Item A, having discussed with the Executive Director the financial impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on the A.S. and particularly the closing of the San Diego State University campus and its facilities including the A.S. facilities as a result thereof, the Board gave direction to the Executive Director to engage in negotiations with Live Nation Worldwide, Inc. regarding rental compensation and related terms under the agreement with it.
  • In regards to Item B, having heard from the Executive Director regarding the effect of the Coronavirus on the A.S. and the inability of the A.S. to participate in the U.S. Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the Board directed the Executive Director to dismiss and release A.S. part time employees, effective May 7, 2020. 
  • The votes were all ayes, no nays, and no abstentions.
