GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE A.S. BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE THREE COUNCIL MEETING 

I. CALL TO ORDER

A.S. President, Jamie Miller called the meeting to order at 4:41 PM in the Council Chambers at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.

II. ROLL CALL

III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

It was moved and seconded to approve the agenda for today’s meeting.

IV. PUBLIC COMMENT

Osama Alkhawaja expressed his concerns for fellow students and demanded more protection from the university.

VI. UNIVERSITY REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS:

  1. Business and Financial Affairs Designee: None.
  2. University President’s Designee: None.

VII. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

  1. Swearing-in of the 2016/17 A.S. Campus Life Council: A.S. Executive Vice President, Patty Masengale swore in the new 2016/17 A.S. Campus Life Council.
  2. Swearing-in of the 2016/17 A.S. University Council: A.S. Vice President of University Affairs, Chimezie Ebiriekwe swore in the new 2016/17 A.S. University Council.
  3. Swearing-in of the 2016/17 A.S. Judicial Affairs Council: A.S. Vice President of Financial Affairs, Alex Shapiro, swore in the new 2016/17 A.S. Judicial Affairs Council.
  4. Approval of the Summer and Fall Meeting Schedule (Action): It was moved and seconded to approve the summer and fall meeting schedule.
