About CASE
Cultural Arts & Special Events (CASE) provides cultural, educational and social programs that are free to SDSU students. Programs include "sneak" preview films that provide an opportunity for students to view an exclusive free movie screening prior to its release in theatres. Thursday noontime concerts on the Aztec Center Patio Stage offer a variety musical and cultural entertainment. Live performances are also offered in Starbucks on Mondays and Wednesdays featuring SDSU student and local musical artists. Students also have a chance to showcase their own talent through the Open Mic Night series. There are a variety of special events throughout the year including two major annual events - Homecoming Week in the fall and GreenFest in the spring. CASE also provides sponsorship funding to recognized SDSU student organizations to further support student involvement.
