5 Crazy Interesting Fun Facts

Mission Bay Aquatic Center

Over the past year, MBAC has rented 6,357 stand up paddleboards, 3,007 kayaks and 1,380 sailboats.

MBAC was designated the West Coast Center of Excellence in STEM Education by the US Sailing National STEM Initiative.

MBAC houses over 180 boats on-site.

There are over 240 part time staff that work at MBAC in various positions including Surfing Instructors, Youth Camp Counselors, Dockmasters and many more.

MBAC's solar photovoltaic system has produced enough energy to operate a TV for 199,112 days since its installation in 2008.

    Chris Thomas, AS President, 5th year Fitness Specialist with minors in Leadership and Industrial Organization Psychology

    … learn new languages and also read in my free time.
  3. What is your favorite place or thing to do on the SDSU campus?
    Favorite Place: Student Union, Favorite Thing: Talk to random students in the union.
  4. If you could go back or forward in time, where would you go?
    I would love to go back in time to when I was a little kid… because those were the good ole days.
  5. When you order a drink at Starbucks, how many words are in the description of your drink and what are they?
    Four shots blonde espresso iced with four pumps vanilla please… so 10 words. Feel free to get it any time.

  3. What is your favorite place or thing to do on the SDSU campus?
    One of my favorite places is the Storm Hall West Terrace
  4. If you could go back or forward in time, where would you go?
    I wouldn’t go back in time. I would go to a future where many of the world’s social issues are solved

    Many different types but 15 at the most: Java Chip Frappuccino with extra chips, peppermint syrup, extra whip cream and a caramel drizzle; Strawberry Acai Refresher with lemonade; Medicine Ball; and Very Berry Hibiscus with steamed lemonade.

    Christian Onwuka, Mr. Super Dupa, Your Vice President of Financial Affairs. I am a fourth year Business Finance major, accompanied with an Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies.

    Write and read poetry.
  3. What is your favorite place or thing to do on the SDSU campus?
    Go to the Turtle Pond and relax on a cool school day, with a nice breeze. Very fulfilling.
  4. If you could go back or forward in time, where would you go?
    I would go forward to my wedding to see how beautiful my wife is, and to see who my groomsmen are, and to see the emotion I have in my own face, because I know I will probably be crying on my wedding day.
  5. When you order a drink at Starbucks, how many words are in the description of your drink and what are they?
    “Lemme get uhhhhh….. Lemme tryyyyyy…. A Large is a small, right? Okay for sure, let me get a…. Is the tango tea delicious? Or is it just a nice tea? It’s delicious? Okay…. Let me get a Grande White Chocolate Mocha with an extra shot of Espresso please.” So that’s approximately 50 words.

    My favorite place is the Student Union.

    I would go back in time so I could play basketball with my father.
