Bring Your GreenFest Ideas to Life

GreenFest Collaboration Grants provide SDSU student organizations with funding and resources to host events that align with GreenFest’s mission. Share your creativity, promote sustainability, and engage the campus community.

Support & Resources Provided

  • Program expenses up to $500 (Associated Students handles payments & approvals)
  • Marketing: Website inclusion and social media promotion
  • Space reservations: Student Union Courtyard or Templo Mayor room
  • Limited supplies and decor: Reusable or compostable items, lawn games, etc.
  • Event planning support: Virtual or in-person meetings with A.S. advisors and A.S. Sustainability Assistants

Requirements

  • Attend Zero-Waste & Event Planning Mandatory Training
  • Communicate with A.S. Sustainability and Programs Assistants
  • Oversee day-of event support (setup, vendors, breakdown)
  • Ensure events are zero-waste and open to the SDSU student community
  • Schedule events during available GreenFest calendar slots
