Congratulations to the Vietnamese Student Alliance for winning 1st place in the 2014 GreenFest Student Team Spirit Competition! The Asian Pacific Student Alliance came in 2nd place, and FIJI received third place. A huge thank you to all Student Teams who participated in this year's GreenFest week of events. Chiddy Bang, that is! Dance your heart out with the Boondock Brothers, an SDSU student opening act, Problem, and Chiddy Bang at the 2014 Greenfest Concert! The doors to the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre will open at 6pm and the show will begin at 7pm. Buy your tickets at the Viejas Arena Ticket Office, or at the venue starting at 5pm tonight! It's going to be an incredible show you won't forget!

Join us at the Green Lunch Bag Series from 12-2pm in the Union Theatre for lunch and a powerful conversation! Bob Musil, PhD, MPH is the President of the Rachel Carson Council, a Senior Fellow at the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies and adjunct professor at American University, where he teaches global climate change and American environmental politics. Dr. Musil specializes in contemporary global sustainability, security, and health issues, as well as Cold War history, culture, and policy.

The Student Diversity Commission proudly presents the Aztec Chef competition from 12 - 2pm in the Lee and Frank Goldberg Courtyard. Learn from the very best chefs at SDSU as they compete for winning your hearts through delicious recipes and free food samples! Don't panic, it's organic!


Sustain Your Pride!


Mark your calendars for Sustain Your Roots on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 8-10pm in Montezuma Hall!

DIVERSITY will truly come to life with free food, dance, and spoken word performances at this event! Kicking off the event will be Rudy Francisco, the 2010 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion. There will also be multiple performances throughout the event from a variety of SDSU’s very own cultural performers! With all that excitement, you will surely build up an appetite! No worries, we have you covered! Oggi’s will be providing free pizza at the event and if you are feeling adventurous, leave some space on your plate for all the free food inspired by cultures throughout the world! Learn more about sustainable practices around the world by participating in the Passport Challenge and win great prizes! A huge thank you to Scratch Sheet and the Center for Intercultural Relations for their generous support.

Kick off 2014 Greenfest with the Bike Brunch from 10:30am - 1:00pm on the South End of Campanile Walkway! Enjoy bagels from Peabody's, fresh fruit from Trader Joe's, and goodies from Barnana and Kind Healthy Snacks! You will have the chance to create your own trail mix, too! Learn more about Zip Car and Car 2 Go, and try your luck in winning a variety of prizes such as an SDSU themed Sector 9 hat, a monthly transit pass sticker from MTS, a bike bell, and so much more! The Bike Stand will also be there if you need a tune up! Let the good times roll!


Sustainability is a Lifelong Commitment!


Join us in the Lee and Frank Goldberg Courtyard from 3:00pm - 6:00pm for live music, giveaways, a photobooth, and so much more! Win a gift card to the Habit while riding a bike to create your own smoothie! Cheer on the student teams as they compete in a variety of green challenges across campus. While Power Save focuses on energy and water conservation, UBER is helping promote alternative modes of transportation. Students will have the opportunity to plant herbs in collaboration with the Children's Center and the Community Garden. YOU can contribute too! Donate clothing to Goodwill Industries and watch Barnana as they quiz the students on the importance of food consumption and production. Educate yourself on keepin' it green today and always!

2014 GreenFest Concert featuring Chiddy Bang!


This year's GreenFest concert is featuring Chiddy Bang and the opening student performer, the Boondock Brothers. The concert will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. Doors will open at 6:00pm and the concert will begin at 7:00pm.

How much are tickets?
Student tickets are $10. Guest tickets are $20. 
One student ticket per valid Red ID. SDSU students can also purchase one (1) guest ticket, pending availability at the time of purchase. 

How many guest tickets are available?
There are a limited number of guest tickets available for the show.  

When do tickets go on sale?
TBA. Check back on the website for additional information.

How can I pay for my tickets?
You can pay with cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. 

Where can I purchase tickets?
Viejas Arena Ticket Office at San Diego State University; Monday - Thursday from 10:00am - 5:30pm,Friday from 10:00am - 4:30pm

Can I bring my friend's Red ID in line with me so that we can buy tickets to sit together?
Yes, as long it is a valid Red ID that will be verified at purchase.

How do I make sure to sit next to my friends?
It's a "RESERVED SEATING" show. You either all have to purchase tickets at the same time at the Viejas Arena Ticket Office, or bring your friends' Red ID with you. 

Can my tickets be replaced if they are lost or stolen?  
No, lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. Tickets must be treated like cash and kept in a safe and secure place. Tickets should also be kept in a cool place and never placed in direct sunlight.

When do doors open at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre?

Will I be able to go in and out of the venue?
No. There is no re-entry for this show.

Will my guest be able to come in to the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre without me?
No. All guests must enter with an SDSU student who is carrying a valid Red ID.
