SDSU Green Love has created a set of guidelines for all Green Love events to follow. We hope that the guidelines can be utilized by other organizations as an example while aiding us in achieving our goals. Essentially, these require our events to be zero waste and as sustainable as possible.

This can be made possible through:

  • Doing the research on the companies and products you choose to support
  • Communicating and share your sustainability goals
  • Using all compostable materials and/or recyclable materials
  • Buying ethically sourced food- local, organic, fair trade, and vegetarian options
  • Supporting local business
  • Letting attendees know about our sustainability efforts
  • Market as a zero waste event
