ACCOMPLISHMENTS

All 8 ½ x 11 standard copier and printer paper is sourced from post-consumer recycled content.
All toilet paper, seat covers and paper towels (rolled or folded) are sourced from recycled content and are Green Seal Certified.
All small batteries are rechargeable unless stored for emergency purposes or non-rechargeable batteries must be used for a specific reason.
All cleaning products used by the A.S. custodial contractor and A.S. staff follow a Green Cleaning policy that ensures environmental and human wellness.
All trash receptacles have companion recycling and compost containers to increase waste diversion from the landfill. Our custodial team also removes contamination from these containers before the contents are taken to local recycling and composting facilities.

All computers have been replaced with EPEAT silver or higher units.
All appliances rated by the U.S. Energy Star program have been replaced with Energy Star appliances when scheduled or sooner, if possible.
All waste bin liners used by the A.S. and custodial contractor are made out of recycled plastic.
All Associated Students managed facilities have achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Existing Building: Operations & Maintenance (LEED O+M) Gold or Platinum certification.
