Hey! My name is Jacie Foster, a third-year Interdisciplinary Studies major in Journalism, Political Science, and Leadership with an Honors minor. I serve as A.S. Chief of Staff, overseeing the FAST Track and FLEX programs that mentor first-year and transfer students into Associated Students. Through my experience in A.S., I have worked across multiple areas to advocate for inclusive, student-centered policies. I also serve as Vice President of Professional Development for the Honors College. 

My initiatives include advancing the SWANA Center, strengthening safety and transparency between campus police and students, and increasing awareness of the ARC expansion. As a Pilates instructor and wellness advocate, I am passionate about expanding wellness classes and campus-wide initiatives that prioritize students’ mental and physical well-being.

Hello Aztecs! My name is Scarlett Walker, a third-year majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice student with an Interdisciplinary studies minor. I serve as A.S. Chief Justice on the Judicial Affairs Council where I oversee A.S. procedures and councilmembers. Currently, I’m an SDSU Ambassador and a seasoned RA. As your Vice President of External Relations I will prioritize advocacy at the CSU, state, and federal levels to advance issues impacting SDSU students such as more affordable housing in the College Area and improving the quality of life within dorm buildings. As a Finance major with a minor in History, I understand the importance of opportunity, engagement, and empowerment. Through my involvement as the Director of Fundraising for the Entrepreneurship Society and as a brother of Delta Sigma Pi and Tau Kappa Epsilon, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful student involvement can be.

Hey SDSU, I’m Eric Krog, a third-year double major in Computer Science and Economics. I currently serve on the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and as the College of Sciences representative, where I work directly with A.S. and bring student concerns to the table. Previously, I served as President of Delta Sigma Phi, leading an executive board and multiple committees while overseeing an annual budget of over $200,000.

My plan is simple: modernize A.S. banking and the student organization webpage into a single hub for forms, deadlines, rosters, resources, and banking guidance. I will also align funding with student outcomes by investing in labs, certifications, research, and career preparation through workshops, networking, and career fairs, so organizations can spend more time succeeding.

Marhaba! I’m Noah Abushadi-Stuart, running for VP of University Affairs to create a more inclusive SDSU where every student feels supported and empowered in their academia. My roles in Associated Students and the Middle Eastern North African Student Association have equipped me with the experience and passion to advocate for the safety and well-being of all students. moved to California from Iran when I was 12. After starting school, I felt the need to remove anything that indicated I was different from everyone from my personality and character. I realized years after that I did this to fit in and because of the lack of representation around me. I did not feel comfortable, even at that age, embracing my culture and my Persian identity. I know there’s many students that feel underrepresented and alone in the identity they have. My job is to make sure every person feels comfortable and has everything they need to feel respected and included on this campus. I will work to make sure every voice is empowered and that every community has a place to belong.

Hey Aztecs! I’m Ryan-Matthew Sheade II and I’m super excited to help YOUnify SDSU as the Student Diversity Commission Representative! I’m currently a 1st year TFM student. During this year I’ve been able to learn a lot about the inner workings of AS through my time in SSC and SDC as well as my time in AS’s First Year Leadership Experience (FLEX) which has energized me to make a big difference. My deep-rooted experience in advocacy along with my passion for it has grown exponentially. My name is Maryamawet Debele and I am running to be YOUR Student Support Commission Representative. I am a Hospitality and Tourism Major. Through my experience in being a Goodwin Scholar, Community Assistant, PSFA Representative for Meetings and Events Student Association, and FAST Track, I have learned the importance of students feeling informed, connected, and supported. I have used my platform to spread awareness on the many resources that SDSU offers its students. However, most students are not informed on all of the support that we offer. As a student support representative I intend on bridging the gap by increasing awareness on campus resources and organizing collaborative events that connect students to programs like CalFresh and wellness services.

As an A.S. leader, I hope to branch out and find new ways to support all SDSU students so they can have the best college experience possible. I have been a part of the A.S. Student Support Commission since my freshman year and plan to continue serving on the board. From being on this board I have gained hands-on leadership experience by doing all that we can to meet students needs, collaborating with other boards, and helping students with access to resources. I am motivated to pursue a government leadership role because I am passionate about hearing and amplifying student voices, therefore creating meaningful change. Being involved in A.S has shown me how impactful student leadership can be, and I hope to.

I want to have an overall positive impact on every school that I attend. I can confidently say that so far I have exceeded those expectations at my elementary, middle, and high school. I truly believe that I can come up with creative ideas to make this school more enjoyable and welcoming to all students. I've held many leadership roles in the past, including VP of national honor societies, captain of different varsity sports, student leadership in high school, Jr.IFC (applying for IFC board in a month), Jr. Ambassador for West Family Foundation (donated over 400k in grants), peer mentor in special education classrooms, big buddy program at local elementary schools. I want to make a difference in my community for the better.

Through organizing a beach cleanup and raising awareness for sustainability, I’ve seen the impact students can make. I’m running for an A.S. leadership role to make campus opportunities more accessible for working students, first-generation students, transfer students, and Latino students. As an Associated Student leader, I hope to represent the student body, specifically the students within the Fowler College of Business in an empowering way. I hope to connect students with a variety of opportunities and resources that will help with their future ambitions. By listening to student concerns and working with faculty, I hope to advocate for meaningful change and proactive solutions. I was motivated to apply for a leadership spot because I have always had a drive to speak up for those who cannot. By doing so I feel empowered to help students achieve their goals to the fullest. Through leadership, service, and communication, I will work my hardest to foster an environment where students feel inspired and confident to achieve their goals.

I have two main goals for SDSU. First, support student organizations by helping clubs and societies navigate funding and making the process more clear and fair. Second, leave systems better than they were found, there is always room for improvement.

Leadership experience comes from both campus and professional settings. Whether I take lead on final projects or managing a restaurant for three years. Across those roles, the most consistent strength has been listening first, then acting on what is heard.

I am pursuing this position to give back to the school that has already made a real impact. After transferring last semester, SDSU quickly felt like home, and I have strong motivation to help set the campus up for success in the years ahead.

I am currently a College of Sciences Representative, and am a first year psychology major who is passionate about making our college community stronger, more connected, and more supportive. As your representative, I will continue my efforts in prioritizing listening to student concerns, strengthening communication between students and the council, and creating opportunities that promote academic success and student well being. As a member of Positivity Club, I am dedicated to spreading kindness, creativity, and school spirit across campus. My name is Cecilia Sanchez and I would be honored to be your next College of Sciences representative. I am confident in my ability to represent my college correctly through my previous leadership experience. I was in numerous clubs in high school and was even the founder of my school’s first club for new students entering the school. 

My overall goal for the College of Sciences is to make sure our voices are heard and opinions valued in meetings. I hope to ensure that our science clubs get the funding they need to pursue projects. My name is Eden Bitton, and I’m running to be your next AS College of Sciences Representative. I’m a psychology major and an active member of the SDSU community, currently residing as the president and co-founder of my cultural club. 

While at SDSU, I’ve enjoyed every moment, but I’ve also seen growth opportunities. Students deserve healthier food options and to feel safe at all hours of the day. For the College of Science, I believe we need more internship opportunities.

I am running for College of Sciences Representative to advocate for the importance of the science department and ensure it is properly supported, funded, and represented within Associated Students. As a biology student, I have seen how essential our programs are and believe they deserve strong, informed advocacy. My leadership experience includes serving as Human Resource Director for a sorority, Vice President of Administration for a freshman community living organization, and currently as Finance Director on the College Panhellenic Association board. I am motivated to pursue a government leadership role to represent students who share my academic interests, build connections across campus, and work collaboratively to make meaningful improvements while continuing to grow as a leader.

For nearly five years, I have advocated for graduate students at SDSU through leadership, teaching, research, and campus service. I have worked with the Office for Graduate Life and Diversity, served two years as The Daily Aztec News Editor, and spent the past year as GSA Vice President of Public Affairs. As a graduate teaching associate and active researcher, I understand the many roles graduate students take on to help make this university what it is. I have seen how essential graduate students are and how often our voices are overlooked. As GSA President, my campaign is Putting Grads On the Map by strengthening relationships, advancing equal representation, increasing visibility, and continuing to build a connected graduate community that is recognized, respected, and heard.

Hello SDSU students. My name is Megan Nicole Sanchez, a second year student in the School Psychology Graduate Program, and I am running for Graduate Student Association President. 

I currently serve as Student at Large for GSA, Events and Marketing Officer for the Disability Student Society, and advisor to the Campus Accessibility Infrastructure Advisory Committee. 

These roles have strengthened my skills in advocacy, collaboration, and accountability. If elected, I will prioritize transparency, meaningful student engagement, and measurable progress on equity and accessibility initiatives, and reducing financial burdens facing graduate students. My name is Eileen Solano, and I am running to serve as President of the Graduate Student Association at San Diego State University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice here after completing all four undergraduate years on this campus.

As Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Professional Studies and Fine Arts College Council, I advocated for students and collaborated with faculty and administration. I have also served three years with the Residential Education Office, supporting students and addressing concerns.

If elected, I will strengthen engagement, increase awareness of resources, and ensure graduate students are heard, supported, and meaningfully represented.
