As an A.S. leader, my goal is to support students facing challenges, both in and outside of the university. I understand that life can be tough, and some may feel more comfortable talking to peers rather than staff. Last year, I was part of the Arabs United Club at my high school,  In this club, we made sure to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone, helping Arab students feel more comfortable and allowing non-Middle Eastern students to learn about Middle Eastern cultures. What motivates me to seek a leadership role is my desire to help others. Having struggled to ask/find for help in the past, I want to ensure that students can find support easily and feel comfortable reaching out when needed.
