Elections & Referendums

Mid-spring semester at SDSU means AS ELECTIONS!  Eligible SDSU students may run in the annual AS Elections to earn a position on AS Council.  The elected AS Council positions are as follows:

• President, Chief Executive Officer
• Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
• Vice President of External Affairs, Chief Communications Officer
• Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer
• Vice President of University Affairs, Chief Academic Officer

• College of Arts & Letters - 4 seats
• College of Business Administration - 4 seats
• College of Education - 1 seat
• College of Engineering - 2 seats
• College of Health & Human Services - 2 seats
• College of Professional Studies & Fine Arts - 6 seats
• College of Sciences - 4 seats
• Unclassified Studies - 2 seats
• Graduate Student Association President - 1 seat

Note:  One (1) student representative (seat) for every one thousand five hundred (1,500) students or a major part thereof officially enrolled as majors in each academic college.  Number of seats may change, depending on enrolled students in particular college.
