First-Year Leadership Experience (FLEX)
The FLEX selects five first-year students interested in immersing themselves into A.S. and student leadership through a year-long curriculum.
Through FLEX, you will…

- Have weekly personal and professional development opportunities with the A.S. Chief of Staff.
- Be directly mentored by the A.S. Executive Officers.
Requirements:
Must be a regularly enrolled first-year SDSU student, carrying at least six units per semester.
Obligations:
Must attend a weekly FLEX meeting, attend two weekly committee meetings and meet frequently with your designated A.S. Executive Officer.
Time Commitment:
4-5 hours per week
First, Second and Transfer Track (FAST Track)
The FAST Track Program selects a group of first, second and transfer students to learn about A.S., student organizations and professional development through a semester-long mentorship program.
Through FAST Track, you will…

- Receive direct mentorships with the A.S. Chief of Staff, other A.S. council members and various community leaders to foster student leadership both on and off campus.
Requirements:
Must be a regularly enrolled first-year SDSU student, carrying at least six units per semester.
Obligations:

Must attend a weekly FAST Track meeting (Time TBD) and a weekly A.S. committee meeting.
Time Commitment:
1-2 hours per week
