College Councils and Graduate Student Association (GSA)

SDSU consists of seven academic colleges, each of which has its own governing student body, the College Council (listed below). College Councils meet regularly throughout the semester and provide an opportunity for involvement in student advocacy as well as extracurricular activities and programs. Providing advice and direction for many academic and programmatic issues that face each college, College Councils are a perfect place to get involved at any point in the college experience. Information about each College Council is available at the Associated Students Government Affairs Office or at the respective college's Dean's office.

The SDSU Graduate Student Association (GSA) plans and coordinates programming relevant to the graduate student experience at the university. This includes new graduate students' transitioning experience to the campus, professional development opportunities, and graduate students' relationships with the university after graduation.
